This is a very nice take on that first date. I liked the fact that they go back to the office to redo Casino Night.

(You misspelled Meredith at the beginning, btw).

The dialogues flow nicely, too. Both of them in character.

Author's Response: Thanks for pointing out the typo. Only fair since I've done the same for you. I wanted to do something different with this one. Re-creating where it all went wrong and making it where it all went right was a fun challenge. I'm glad you liked it.

Wow! First of all, I couldn't belive the word count. Kudos on that! It takes a lot of commitment.

I really liked the premise of the chapter, to send Jim on a scavenger hunt. Just the thing he would enjoy and such a nice way for Pam to say what she knows.

The songs are a very nice touch to every part of the journey.

Author's Response: Thanks. Time and words fly when you're having fun. Sending Jim on the scavenger hunt was something I'd been planning for a long time. I'm glad it turned out well. I've had all those songs on a Youtube playlist for months. It's been the main thing I've listened to while I was writing this story so I'm glad all the songs came across well.

So beautiful, but honestly I feel the need to hit the head of Pam's dad... with a skillett... full with rocks.
I hope at some point your Pam does it or, you know, tells him to mind his own goddamn business.
Anyhoo, great chapter. I'm enjoying a lot more the present than the flashbacks, since the former make me eager and curious while the latter kind of make me sad, knowing how it all ended. Oh well, I'm a loser for happy endings.

OMG! What a powerful, draining chapter. Your writing always gets me into the scene and I can see places, colors, textures, while I get to feel what the characters are feeling. And, of course, because of that I'm a little heartbroken right now.
So, kudos!
I am dying to read what comes next so, maaaybe you want to spare my life? And that of your other followers?
Anyway, amazing update!
(For a moment at the end of last chapter I thought they were going to figure it out quickly, you know? Date, drinks and getting back together sex. This is so much painfully beter!)
