Well, a month between updates just gives us an excuse to reread the story, no objections here! Ok, faster is preferred, but you do you.

I really enjoyed this chapter, and seeing a crushed Michael was tough, I really look forward to the payoff there.

Author's Response: Haha, thanks DG! About that faster thing... whoops...

That was a great finish, I especially liked Michael's perspective at the end, it was wonderful.

Author's Response:

Thanks DG! I’m glad the Michael finish hit the spot. I really loved the idea of him thinking it was all because of him.

Summary:

When it is revealed that Pam missed out on the joys of her senior prom, Jim and Michael bring the employees of Dunder Mifflin together for a night that everyone will remember.

Nothing to be sorry for in my book, I enjoyed the drama, and it certainly padded the run time. The ending was indeed ”dece” as the kids say.

Thanks for writing, looking forward to the next one.

A good finish, I really like the rehashed snippets of the Karen convo instead of having to listen to the whole thing, it still got the points across well I felt.

Well done.

Summary: No one is allowed to love. It’s illegal, end of story. So, what happens when two people who can’t help their feelings decide it’s worth the risk if it means they can be together?

Reminds me of Freedom First by Rachel. I really enjoyed that story and it's sequel. I look forward to reading more of this.

I look forward to reading more.

One has to wonder, what is the punishment for falling in love?

And I agree with Jim, I only follow rules that can be explained to me. If you can't tell me why I shouldn't do something I'm not very inclined to listen to you.

Author's Response: We will find out what happens if they break the rules at a later date! And I agree, I would have a hard time following a rule that seemed to have no real meaning behind it.

Spitballing here, does the idea involve falling in love with their assigned partners? Whatever it is, I just hope it's not a recipe for disaster.

The chapter is well written and interesting as usual. Also, you surpassed your monster oneshot in length, so I think that means this multi chapter idea is a success!

Well I know they won't, but plan A could work! In my patriotic and idealized version of Canada, even in fiction we are nice people. Move out to the middle of nowhere in a prairie province and there would be no one to bother you for kilometers around!

Plan B sounds more practical, but risky. I can't wait to see the complications that arise from it.

Author's Response: I really, really considered plan A. I almost made that the only plan, but I thought it might just be taking the easy way out, kind of. Of course trying to find that place and then actually going there without anyone finding out would have it's own risks and troubles, but I think telling Roy and Karen will end up being better, if only for the storyline lolol Thank you for reviewing!!

Ah yes the "Yes I'm sure they won't be back", classic.

I looked forward to seeing the fallout from whatever Roy is about to do, although my naive side says "Hey, maybe he's just going somewhere to chill out".

Great for Jam. Makes me feel bad for Karen and Roy though. I hope they can find happiness too.

Thanks for writing, looking forward to the next one.

Uh oh, we all know what happened last time Pam went to Chilli's. For the sake of the characters I hope all goes well... for the story? I suspect a penguin on fire rolling down a dry grassy hillside.

Looking forward to it!

Is Michael secretly apart of some underground railway for love? I guess we'll have to wait and see. I enjoyed the chapter, and I look forward to the next one. For saying you've stalled on the plot, I think you're going in a good direction.

Well, Karen was maybe interested in Canon, encouraging Pam to get on that, so its a possibility. I look forward to hearing from Michael, I really liked his earlier appearances in the story.

Aww, that was a great roll credits line at the end there, nailed it friend. I'm sorry to see this one end, but you got is all to where we wanted to be, so there's that. I would still have loved(ha) to see more on the not allowed to love laws, as even in this chapter you had the words from the pastor speaking on it, and it just makes me want to see more of the elaborate farce these people are forced to live.

It was a great run though, thank you for sharing this with us! This was an excellent foray into multichapter fix and I hope you can take the lessons learned here and continue to share new ideas with us!

Summary: In the Booze Cruise episode, Roy's motivated to set a wedding date because Captain Jack tells a story about getting married to the love of his life. But what effect would it have on Roy if the story was about how Captain Jack happily avoided marriage? Let’s see what happens.

Wow, my big takeaway this chapter was 'Go Katy!', which is a shock to me. It was really nice to see this other side of her that we don't get too much in other works.

Of course all aboard for Jim and Pam hugs, very sweet.

Looking forward to how you wrap this up.

Wow! Ok! That was fast with the proposal, no beating around the bush there. Too bad our little Jimmy has a Katy waiting for him back home, I feel like that's going to cause some problems.

Looking forward to seeing how this all unravels!

Author's Response: Yes, there will likely be quite a few complications waiting in Philly. ;) Thank you!

Uh oh, they've got themselves a posse!
For some reason that ending has got Big Iron stuck in my head, so thanks for that.

Another very enjoyable chapter, I'm sure Jim's luck upon arriving in Philly will be complicated, but I'm glad to see Pam is agreeing to go along with this,it warms my heart!

Keep up the good work, looking forward to see how Jim defuses or dispatches the posse.

Author's Response:

“For some reason that ending has got Big Iron stuck in my head, so thanks for that.“  —that literally made me laugh.

Thanks for the comments and I’m glad you are liking it!

Glad to see Roy get his comeuppance at the hands of Jim and Bob Vance. Also good to see them homeward bound, although that bar sounds real seedy.

Looking forward to seeing if they die of dysentery along the way!

Author's Response: Hopefully they won't have a full 'Oregon Trail' experience on their journey. :) And yeah, Roy is a jerk.

This was really emotionally heavy, but it's short enough that we didn't have to wallow in it. I enjoyed it, and rally, anything that speeds up the train wreck that was jam in season 3 is welcome.

Author's Response: Thanks DG! I’m with you there, anything that speeds up Season 3 angst is a win in my book...

Summary: Tonight was the night he was going to tell Pam about everything. The longing, dreams, hopes, and the love that had flourished over time had finally become too difficult to stifle. Jim Halpert was at the end and needed to share this before he exploded. Casino night was the perfect night to do that. It was Friday night so if she loved him back, the weekend was theirs, but if she broke his heart, he had a few days to piece himself back together before he would need to face her again.
