That being said... I am very interested in how Jim is going to react to this and just how quickly they're gonna fall for each other. I cannot wait for some Pam sass to a hot shot Jim.

Okay, I adore the cute, romantic first date fics a lot. But I absolutely loved this with the fighting and feelings and then the want and need for each other. It was perfect. Amazing job!

Author's Response: I love those too! But I was rewatching Fun Run and thought “wow, Pam had to sit there and watch while Karen yelled at jim, wonder how that affect their first date?” And here we are! Thank you so much for reading and reviewing!

AMAZING. I was mesmerized the whole time. I would have loved if we got to see Pam's reaction to Jim's "I would save the receptionist" on the show, but this is just as good. I cannot wait for the next part!

I like to believe that Pam never drove up to Stamford in the show because this is exactly what would have happened and it's not very PG-13. But that's okay because we got this fic out of it and it's so amazing. I love that they were able to go from boning to joking around seamlessly. I also love that Pam didn't even want to follow Jim because she just needed to be with him. I loved it!

Okay, WOW. I really thought we were safe for at least a little while longer after Roy got knocked out, that ending left me shocked. I can't believe Jim forgot to change his coat, huge mistake on his part. I can't wait for the next chapter to see what happens between them!

Well, this hurt my soul. Honestly not sure if I can recover from this. I could feel Pam's pain and longing throughout all of this, especially during their awkward moment in the breakroom. And then I was smiling as wide as she was as you described her feelings about Jim's prank on her. I don't know how else to describe this other than beautiful and perfect.

Sprinkles. This was so good. I really didn't think they were gonna make it out of the hotel room at first, though I'm sure they are definitely not getting out of it anytime soon now. I loved Pam using the Im in love with you line. Such a fantastic way to bring this all full circle. I'm sad this story is over but I loved every second of this.

SO GOOD. I loved all the different perspectives, throwing Roy and Karen's in there was perfect. I also loved Jim thinking of the yogurt lid as a poker chip, bringing us full circle. This was amazing!

“Can I, uh, take a different plus one?”

This was the exact moment that I knew hated Jim in this story, and it did not improve as it went on. I mean, "“What?” He doesn’t open the door, just throws a curt reply in her general direction. Is this really what they’ve become? He can’t even bear to be in the same room as her?"?? I wanted to kill him. He's such a jerk and for no good reason (we're just gonna ignore the whole heartbreak thing for now). However, I kind of love it because now I can't wait to see how you turn this all around and fix it up. I hope you update soon!!

I think I hated Jim even more in the beginning of this chapter than the last one, honestly. His angry glare at her when Not-Dwight/Andy rammed their chair into her? I'm shocked Pam had the willpower to not slap him across the face. And then the cab thing had me worried, I really thought they were two seconds away from death. But nothing like a near death experience to get your true feelings out! The ending was perfect, better than I had hoped for. Bringing back the "I can't" only to have it be Jim's fault this time was great, I'm positive that's what Pam was thinking all of season 3.

As for next chapter, I think you already know our answer for if we would be mad about a rating change. Crank it up!
