How did I miss this chapter? The Dwight and Pam friendship is my favorite friendship on the show and this chapter summarizes it SO well. Pretending not to care when really he cares about Pam a lot. Feels bad for making Pam upset when he meant to make Jim upset. Everything was so perfect and Dwight.

I hope you don't take offense when I say that I think this is my favorite thing you have written so far. I love me some English Jim and BaBT was mere perfection, but you wrote this fic so beautifully, I'm not even going to be able to accurately describe how amazing it truly is. My heart hurt so much throughout all of this. Jim knowing he has to leave Scranton because of Pam but also *doesn't* want to leave Scranton because of Pam. I absolutely adore you writing a more in depth look at how transferring effected Jim, since we see a lot of how it effects Pam in fic. Yes, he's losing the love of his life and his prank buddy and all of that but he's also just losing his best friend.
Then the dress zipping up. WW. When I tell you I could feel Pam's panic but was also SO excited for Jim to zip it up. omg, girl. You wrote them both so perfectly too. How embarrassed Pam would be but knowing there's no way around it and how awkward and nervous Jim would be. My babies.
And then the rain. If it's raining in a fic, I'm more than likely going to love it. Pam's grandma's sayings to her were so cute and I love that Pam held onto those for her whole life. "What it's like to be affected by you" okay cool. cool, cool, cool. My funeral is tonight, hope you can make it.
The part that just ripped my heart to shreds though was when she leaned on his shoulder after he called a cab and said that she is going to miss him too. I was in the middle of the grocery store truly just trying not to cry. And then she didn't let go of his hand as they walked to the cab.
AND THEN. WW. The reuse of the "I just had to do that... once." after he kisses her. And then JUST WALKS AWAY. DOESNT LOOK BACK. Goes to sob in his kitchen and then turns around and shes there and she's telling him to stay and to stay with her and I'm trying not to cry just thinking about it.
This is *beautiful*, WW. I seriously don't have the words to tell you how much I love this. Just think of how much Jim loves Pam in this fic, and that is how much I love this fic and how much I love you for writing this fic.

I have been really bad at reviewing lately but I am in love with this story. You write AUs so fantastically and this one is no different. I hate that Pam thinks Jim has an ulterior motive when he's made a point to himself to not go through her to get his story, but I get it. I would think the same thing if I heard Dwight say what he did. I can't wait for Pam and Angela to work together, that will be so much fun to explore and read! I love this story and can't wait to see how you make it all play out!

How do I form thoughts. I literally have goosebumps after reading this. Holy crap. You write these characters so so so well, I am 10000% invested with every update. How well Jim can read her, how he knew she was going to cry and how he caught her before she crashed into the cart. How badly Pam doesn't want to fall for him or his "tricks" but she can't completely hold herself back either. I love it too much.

I think this is my favorite chapter so far. It was SO great to see Jim and Pam finally connecting like they used to, to see that Helene and Penny love him as much as they used to which helps Pam see that maybe he hasn't changed as much as she thinks he has. I loved their moment in the kitchen and then again on the porch. This story kills me and I never want it to stop.

One thing I will say in Pam's defence is that I wrote this thinking that Jim was also acting more like himself in this chapter (i.e. away from the California craziness), so that's what Helene and Penny are seeing...I don't think Pam is *totally* wrong that Jim has changed a bit. How do you do it? How do you make each chapter so amazing and well done and beautiful? Pam's confessions on the terrace were heartbreaking. You just know that she has been waiting to say all of those things for so long and she was finally able to let them out. I'm so glad that she let Jim comfort her. I'm also glad that Jim is deciding to stop the story, though it seems as though maybe Pam won't want him to anymore because of her father's farm. I know I say this every chapter but I cannot wait for the next update.

She doesnt want to marry Danny. Thats basically all I got out of this chapter and really its all I need. But for real, this was such a fun chapter. I love that Jim and Dwight joined in on Pam and Angela’s mission. How much Jim is just trusting Pam with whatever she needs to do. Their moments in the truck just about killed me. They fell asleep together and held hands multiple times and she never moved. Dead. Also Gabe being the head of the farm Im dying. I absolutely cannot wait for them to sneak back in!

Okay first and foremost, I adore Larissa. She's spunky, sarcastic, funny, but you know that she loves and cares for Jim. I also love how much Jim trusts her, looking to her for so much advice, it's super cute. "This is not news." I'm dying.
But ughhhh Pam matched!!! and they TALKED! ALL DAY. Reusing some of the lines from the phone call in The Initiation was genius, I loved every minute of that. And I think you did so well with balancing Jim between hopeful and cautious. Of course he wants to dive right back in to everything that is Pam but he also knows that there is still so much to get answered so he can't go all the way quite yet. Ugh.
"That was the night he had gambled more than just his money at the company casino night and lost" Okay ow. Didn't plan on getting stabbed in the heart tonight but okay.

Ugh what a PERFECT ending. Jim got his answers, and the answers you gave for Pam being on the app and why she didn't call and everything were spot on. The kissing and fluff was just perfection, literally amazing. “You know it’s always been you.” Ughhhhhh. You also weaved in some humor like reaching into his pants pocket for his phone and Jim saying he needs to try some of the other apps out. I loved it. And then using the "it's a date" line will NEVER get old. I'll read a million fics with that line and it still wont be enough, so thank you for including that as well.
