Bored, I don't even know where to start. This story took far too long for me to start reading, and now I can't believe it's over. There truly are no accurate words to describe just how amazing this story was. It was so detailed, I felt like I was standing next to them every chapter. If NBC ever decides to make a post apocolyptic The Office, I would only assume it's because they read this and couldn't put the idea down. I would also then assume you would of course be the head script writer and director, because of course you would. I loved every minute of this story.

Author's Response: Oh Aly, thank you SO MUCH for your love of this story. It means so much to me. :)

I am so incredibly glad that Pam is okay. Mac is truly the lowest scum of the Earth. But he's dead, hallelujah, and hopefully the rest of the guys will be too soon.

Anyway, I loved how Jim and Pam treated one another once they got home. And how while they were at Mac's, their only goal was getting to the other one and making sure they're safe? Amazing.

I have seriously been thinking about this chapter ever since the last one came out so thank you thank you thank you for updating quickly! I know you hear this a lot (as you rightfully should) but this story is amazing and you write it so well. I can't wait for the next chapter to see what the trap is!

Author's Response: Thank you so very much, Aly!

no no no no no no no no no, please no. Bored, why. How. This is going to destroy me until the next chapter comes out. Im pretty sure I'm not even thinking straight right now. The thought of Mac wanting Pam is making me sick to my stomach. And the fact that Jim can't do anything about it? I'm going to die. How you thought this was okay is so beyond me. I hope you update soon!

Author's Response: I'm so sorry, Aly! I hope the wait wasn't too terrible. All will end well, I promise. :)

"A sound that reached the ears of another." I haven't finished reading the chapter yet but when I tell you that this sentence literally made my heart stop, I'm not joking. I really thought that Mac had gotten into the cellar somehow and I was terrified. I had to stop reading for a couple minutes to regain my composure, only to find out it was Toby being a creep lol. This story is every bit as good as everyone says it is and I can't wait to keep reading.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked that part. I wasn't sure how making Toby a villain would be received, but I knew he would fit perfectly in what I had planned for the betrayal. Thanks for letting me know your thoughts!

I cannot wait for them to talk about everything. I love seeing what people come up with for original dialogue, especially when it relates to canon events. This story has been great, I love it immensely, I'm cheering them on even though I know they'll work it out by the end lol

Author's Response: Thanks! It's hard, but it's a lot of fun to find something new to say with these two, even if it's a predictable new.

I'm about to read the next chapter but my jaw DROPPED when she saw him. This story is amazing, by the way, I love it. Makes me feel like I'm in Australia instead of on my couch during quarantine.

Author's Response: Thank you! I love hearing about people's reactions, and I'm glad you too are enjoying faux-touring Sydney at this particular point in time...w will get back to that, although there may be some more emotion- rather than action-heavy chapters coming.

First of all, congrats on 50 chapters!! That's amazing!! I also love how Jim and Pam know exactly how to word things in order to get Ryan to do what they want. And making Dwight train Ryan in order to drive Ryan out is genius lol.

Author's Response: Thank you! It is of course easier to write 50 chapters when they average less than 1000 words each ;). Thank you for the compliment about the Dwight strategy--I had to think long and hard about that.

Adorable. I loved it. I love the way they got together in the show, but man, it would have been GREAT if this had actually happened. Great job!!

“No, I don’t think you screwed me…”

“OH MY GOD.”

This may just be one of the best non-canon thing to happen between Jim and Pam, I loved it. Great chapter!!

Author's Response: I really appreciate that! It was fun to write, so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Pam's father is leaving her mother. Somehow, Jim is to blame.

This was great! I love that you turned their conversation about what Jim said to Pam's dad into a confession. If we ever got to see more than a kiss between Jim and Pam on the show, I'd 100% believe this could have happened for real.

Author's Response: Thank you, alyply! It makes me so happy to hear that you think this could have happened on the show (had it had a slightly different rating...)

Really good job, I loved it!

Wow, I LOVE Michael. How genuinely concerned he was for Pam is adorable. I also love how excited Jim and Pam are for their date. I cannot wait to see Michael's reaction when Jim shows up.

Thanks Aly! I feel like this Michael is all kinds of silly so I’m glad you like him. I hope you like his reactions (I may actually post it sometime this century...)

I loved how this was written with going back and forth with their perspectives. Being able to know both sides of the story was great and I loved how super nervous they both were while also finding that just being next to each other was everything they ever wanted. It's so great. And then, again, I have to say that I adore Michael. I was laughing throughout his entire section, it's amazing.

Author's Response: Thank Aly! I went all sappy and soft with this one, so I’m glad it worked!

I love your Michael lol. He might be just a touch more goofy than in the show, but I don't think it's enough to make him seem out of character. I'm loving this story so far, and I can't wait for Michael to rub it in their faces that he was the one to get them together lol

Author's Response: I’m glad you feel like he works - extra goofy or not! Thanks!

Their miscommunications drive me CRAZY but I love it all the same. We can't have Jim and Pam without some heartache first.

Jim’s at least strewn some of the chaos here. He’d tossed a glitter bomb into the calm, clean room that was her life. Sure, she could vacuum up the bulk of the mess, but sure as shit she’s still finding glitter all over the place.

I think this is one of the absolute best analogies I've seen for Jim and Pam. Amazing.

I can't wait to see what happens next! Thank goodness for Michael's condo's birthday.

Author's Response: Thanks aly! I’m glad you liked that analogy! I had a lot of fun with it.

Fingers crossed I get to Michael’s condo’s birthday someday in the not too distant future... Work is getting in the way of writing at the moment.
