Wife, mother (of children, not dragons, generally). Hopeless romantic, massive JAM shipper. 

Also present on FanFiction.Net under the same name, where I wrote a fair number of stories for Bones, which for over ten years was the TV love of my life. Until now.

I’m still fairly new to The (US) Office, but as a Brit, I was really into the UK version and wasn’t too sure about this upstart US reboot, even with Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant’s input. I’d seen a few episodes over the years, knew vaguely about the Jim/Pam storyline and that there was chemistry, but not really clicked on how good it was, and as for the rest, the little I’d seen? Well, Craig Robinson is Doug Judy in B99 to me, Rashida Jones - Ann Perkins in Parks and Rec; and I didn’t even know that Ellie Kemper and Ed Helms had been in it for several seasons, let alone James Spader and CATHERINE TATE?!  Then I binge-watched it all the way through early in UK lockdown in Spring  2020 and suddenly it all clicked, and I fell hard for JAM. Really hard.

I’ve now watched some episodes several times, but I’m following via the Office Ladies podcast, so I’m really getting into the detail of the show itself as well as the love story.

In real life I have my own Jim (although his name isn’t Jim and he doesn’t work in paper, but he is lovely), two teenagers, a naughty Beagle and a cheeky Jack Russell. I work in the IT Industry.

What a great chapter! Some home truths just starting to dawn on Pam, I loved how Gabby has (purposefully or not) had Pam thinking about Jim vs Roy. And I loved how you bought the George Foreman grill into the proceedings. Very entertaining!

Ooooh I get to do the 100th review! You packed a lot into that chapter! I still think some Pam evolution is happening, even if a lot is happening under the hood. I remain hopeful that the epiphany will come - will we see more Jim and time-travel Pam interaction though to help her along?

Wow, this was long! And a great read. Wow, that was horrible for Pam (trying not to leave a spoiler in the review) but it will help her resolve. You did a good job explaining their relationship, I think it was very plausible.

Wow indeed. Blimey. Just read that in my coffee break. That was *some* smut! And yet, fills my fluffy heart with happiness with the love between them at the same time and you captured that so well through the whole chapter. I am still not convinced they didn’t bang sometime in the first week after all that UST, but fun to read all opinions on that!

This is fantastic. At first I was like “Why is Michael spelt wrong?” And then: “Why doesn’t Basscop just ditch this and have JAM holed up on this island for 2 weeks of smut?” - because I’d totally read that. :D But of course, a carefully crafted plan that course they need the counselling and basically this story is entirely genius.

I loved the way you’ve painted a brilliant miniature of each couple in the space of this one chapter. You don’t compare them directly but you don’t need to - as the readers we get everything we need to know about them in each section and where they are right now. Bravo!

You have this so perfect - such a great balance with the funny and the angst. The relationships - I am so feeling for Mark and Isabel right now, making my heart break that they just can't connect. I know Pam and Jim are going to be OK. And as for Holly and Michael, I sense that this has got some way to run. Same for Dwight and Angela. I loved the mixed up notes. Told us so much. Really nicely done.
