Author's Response: Thank you very much. Writing in English is very complicated for me, because I am not bilingual. So it takes me a long time, months, to finish translating. Sometimes I ask my sister, who is an English teacher (British English), for help, but only for specific things (nothing about sex, of course).

So my words were: - Christmas lights- blizzard- snow-shoveling- stocking- their first Christmas in their house- latkes- New Year’s Party/New Year's hangover- elves I think I got 4 of the 8 (despite being a nice Jewish Girl from North London I was unable to incorporate the latkes, much to my shame. My mother does make a mean latke though.)
