There are so many things that I love about this! I loved the snow globe analogy. And your stove/burn analogy is so true: "She hates to admit just how deep the burn is." And the palms at the end! Ah! I love so much about this and cannot wait for the next installment!

Author's Response: Yay! I always try hard to create fitting metaphors, so I love to hear when they work. And the palms! That was great fun to write. More of that sort of thing to come ;-)

Perfect, perfect epilogue and ending to a great story. Perfect resolution. I am completely contented. Loved it!

Wow! There were so many good things about that chapter... I just loved it! Dwight was so good! And such a surprise I did not expect! The Dwight dialogue was superb. And the 'visual inspection'? Excellent! I have enjoyed this story so much! Thanks! And this was just a great ending. Excited for the epilogue!

Wow. I am just loving the violence and raw emotion. I love the way you write Pam and all her motives and defense mechanisms.

Author's Response: Thank you! Violence is not something that we normally see on the show, but it seemed fitting in a post-Cocktails fic. And I can't decide if I like writing Pam or Karen better. Pam is very fun with all of her defense mechanisms. Frustrating for Jim, fun for me :)

This was SO good! I think at the top of my list of favorite post-Cocktails confessions, for sure!
The list of Jim's hesitations was just so perfect. And his slow realization. SO good!
So looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Awww, thanks! I think, as much as I love Jim, that he still has yet to realize a lot of things on the show. At least I can have him get a clue in fic :)

This is so exciting! Lots of drama, uncharacteristic of these characters, yet still perfectly in character.

Author's Response: Thank you! That is exactly what I was hoping people would think. Are you reading my mind?

Okay... so Pam is not well... hmmm... Is she avoiding Jim (and McPants) because she's suspicious? Is she avoiding Jim because Karen is psycho and said something to her...? Is she really sick?
Such a tangled web you weave Moxie! And it is so much fun to read about.
This has the perfect amount of angst (not too much) and cute, happy Jim and FNB (when masquerading as WD). And each update is better than I expected.
Love it!
Thanks so much for the unexpectedly quick update. Completely and totally made my night!

Oh, Moxie! Excellent ending to a brilliant epic.
I have seriously loved every minute of this and I thank you for the enjoyment it has provided me.
For sure my favorite part, besides the too-fun premise is how perfectly in character you write them. Bravo.
I cannot wait for a rainy day to sit down and read it all over again. Damnit, it is summer. Well, I am sure that 'rainy' day will come sooner rather than later for me.
Awesome.

Wow. Perfection. I think this may be my favoite chapter (okay, I love them all) because of how perfectly you've written all of the characters.
The conversation between Oscar and Kevin, and how Jim is only slightly paying attention, and then responds... it is just so perfectly them. So funny. And you really captured the relationship between Oscar and Kev that we keep getting more glimpses of on the show.
And Angela!? Loved her here. You made her be concise with her words, biting and observant. Perfectly Angela.
And how could Jim and Pam banter be any more perfect? With all the sex talk, so playful, and confident, but still new and timid at the same time. Amazing.
So much of this chapter could be taken right from an episode. But at the same time, Moxie, your mark is all over it.
You've really created a great story here.

Moxie, that was truly great. And completely worth the wait! I am so excited to go back and read it all again while waiting for the next installment. ;)
Pam's response to Jim's deception was so in character and well done. And Jim's confidence, even as Pam is angry with him, is just so perfectly Jim.
So good!!

That was so exciting I want to scream! But my roommates would think I was really strange. But I cannot stop grinning. Must go back and read again. Love Bold!Pam.

I love Bold! Pam! Bold! Pam is the best Pam of all the Pams.
And, Moxie, I love your stories because it is so clear how well planned and constructed they are.
The Jim/Pam dialogue was so perfect and great and fun.
Reading this chapter the second it was posted was so worth being late to a meeting this afternoon!

Is it at all strange that I just got really excited to see a fake picture of a person, made up by a fictional character? I hope not.
Moxie, what is Jim going to do!? He's getting in really deep... and I love it!

Excellent, yet again, Moxie. This really is the only cuer for the hiatus-blues!
I am so excited and nervous about this very flirty Pam:
'WalkingDisaster> Well, feel free to come up and find out. ;-)'
I am so thrilled she said that!

I so cannot wait to find out what happens on Monday when Pam sees Jim and Karen not together... will she pick up on the 'coincidence?'
This is such a well-crafted story, Moxie! From its originality to Krazy!Karen to Sneaky!Jim... so good!

What an excellent surprise after along day!
Such a cute chapter. I just love Pam's plans for Jim to atone for his wrongdoing.
And I especially love that because they each know how the other feels, they have a slight bit of confidence, yet are still on shaky ground and are nervous.
Am seriously going to be sad when this is over. Love it. What an amazing epic you've created here!

OMG! What will Jim type next!? I can't wait to find out. Really, really fun, Moxie! I think I like sneaky Jim.
The first few paragraphs are a great look into the mind of Jim.
"But the static of their fears, their anger, and the other people they've dragged in to hide behind has made it almost impossible to see it."
Love it! And can't wait for an update...

Author's Response: sneaky!jim is so fun to write - I think he'll soon discover he should be careful about what he wishes for..  Thank so much for your comments, I was worried the beginning was lagging, but I thought it was important to state his mindset, so we understand why he decided to snoop...

Yay! This is the perfect thing to help get through the hiatus! Am loving it!

Author's Response: great!!!  Whatever it takes to survive the month of March - that's my motto!   More to come - soon I hope!

I just love the position you've written Jim into. And it's going to be so fun to watch him deal with it all! Keep up the good work, Moxie! Can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response:

Yes, things are going to get curiouser and curiouser for our Jim, and he's not going to come out entirely unscathed from his adventures.  :-)

But we love him anyway, and so does Pam.  Thanks SO much for reading and reviewing!!

It just keeps getting better and better. Love it! And I love the bit about Jim and his jeans.

Oh my god! I love Crayola crayons even more now! Brilliant, Moxie! Jim is just so confident and perfectly sweet without being overly obvious since learning so much in the chat room.
I cannot wait to read what WD has to say to her friends in the chat room about Mr. Wonderful.
And you are just slightly evil ending the chapter right there, without getting to learn Pam's response... evil in a really, really, really good way. And completely reminiscent of the show.

I have nothing of substance to say other than I love this story! It is so good.
It is not only a great idea, Moxie, but perfectly executed.
Love this bit:
But some habits were hard to break, and holding back and hiding was what he knew best.
It is oh, so true.
