Yeah, and can you see Jim saying to PHYLLIS of all people... "so yeah, I saw a hooker in Dwight's hotel room." I think he would turn six shades of red and then die of mortification. But am I the only one who thought it was cute that he said "Hooker" instead of "Prostitute"?

Yup, it’s a post-Cocktails fic! With a bit of a twist. Karen does a bad thing, and Jim is about to suffer the consequences…Wow. You are seriously an ubelievable writer. This story is definite favorite of mine. And, I'm totally not a Jaren fan, but I've always sympathized with Karen. I thought you did a really great job at showing what she's going through. Which must be awful because Jim's amazing and how much would it suck to have him and only find out you're a buffer? Not her fault, I think I'd be scary protective too. But, anyway, you're awesome. I've always sympathized with Karen too! We are completely on the same page here. I always try to put myself in Karen's place. I know that I would be completely smitten with Jim, and to find out that he was in love with someone else would be devastating, and might make my a clingy person too.
