Bio:
I'm turning 30 this year, a single gal in L.A. I really enjoy reading well written fan fiction like that found here on MTT. Jim and Pam are wonderful characters to play with because they have so many flaws, but are still enjoyable and nice people.

Yes, I really want to hear Jim's POV! I am lovin' this, because even though it's a totally different kindof tension than usual, I really sense the sexual tension between J & P. Look forward to more!

Author's Response: yep the sexual tension is definitely there.  ;-) Thanks for reading and definitely thanks for looking forward to more, that's always awesome.

LOVE it. They are so stupid for each other! I love his inner-voice, so unique and still a glimmer of both John and Jim.

I cannot believe how sucked into this story I am. It is beyond fabulous. Please update soon, soon, soon!

Love this:
"Was he still her arch nemesis? Or was he suddenly the Robin to her Batman? Like, he’d paid for her beer…what the hell was that about?"
I love how bewildered Pam is!

This chapter is just so awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!

Last sentence is perfection.

"get all beef ‘n cheddar on her..."  Yes, I am still laughing.  Dear lord, Jim is soooo whipped - I love it.

Intuitive Dwight! 32.5%! "...it’s definitely going to work. It might work. It could feasibly work." Just a few bits I love about this chapter. I think Jim may be onto something - good luck with Plan A/P, kid!

HA! Haaaa! This is bloody hilarious. I seriously laughed out loud several times. Oh, PAM. Ah yes, the 'ol pre-sex first aid ritual, I've seen it many times ;) And reacting to genuine emotion with hatred. Love it.

Ah, Stabergirl's parents, thanks for bugging her little enough for us to get this chap!!

Wow. I can just FEEL this conversation. Hardcore. "She blinks and she focuses on him, like really looks at him, and she stops breathing because he looks totally…" (this is when I held my breath!!) Are you in non-parent land again?? I am loving the journey!

Whew. Thanks for that long chapter - I relished every word! I look foward to when CareBear Jim has to confess to Pam on the show for CN. Methinks it will be intense.

"He can’t keep up this one night stand, smoking and drinking asshole thing he’s been doing all this time and expect a woman, an actual woman who isn’t named after dish soap, to fall in love with him." I love this observation!

"He wants to do things for her, to be things for her, to be in her life or to just be near her life or to just be a part of something that she’s proud of." This is a breathtaking description of what love is. I am, of course, dying to know what Pam is thinking during all this. This whole chapter makes me kindof breathless (in a good way).

Oh. My. God.
Oh. My. God.
I am hyperventilating over here. Please lord let Jim tell her soon that he was being Real Jim all along!! This chapter is so uplifting, heartbreaking and hot all at once.
Oh. My. God. Again. Some more.

"He’s going to kill her with this shit." Hee and H.O.T. In other news, I really love the beginning of this chapter, I can see Pam sitting in her dressing room so vividly, you really captured that well, and her working things out in her head. I can't wait until they DO have to eventually talk about all this. Should be interesting.

This is a true story - I have been on a farm in OK visiting my Grandpa the past 4 days.  The one day we drove into "town" I went to the public library, so there was a new chap, let out a little whoop and printed it, but didn't have time to review - this is what you have done to me!!

Anyway...I love this line: "He’s gotten all But soft what light through yonder window breaks about this Pam situation and it’s embarrassing."

Okay, I have no doubt the next chapter will be hot, hot hot. That being said, I really appreciated the callback to the parking lot in this chap and seeing that Pam remembers that, because I feel like we don't know for sure how she feels yet. Once they have sex, what will she be thinking???

Can't wait to find out and I hope that they finally talk all the way soon, like Pam says in this chap. she keeps thinking things but not saying them.

Also - YOU ARE AWESOME.

Hallelujah - new chapter! It's not just you - it's definitely getting fun! I adored hearing Pam's POV this chapter and getting some more insight into her brain. She is too funny. I especially like this PamThought: "Either way, she’d thought she was finished. She was somebody else starting right then. Somebody different." Damn.

In other news, I don't know if this is kosher, but another reviewer put it perfectly and this chap really confirms, so I thought I would quote their review which shows your genius: "Pam, a very rational being, is suddenly faced with something that's completely out of her control whereas Jim, who's usually very irrational, for once feels something that makes sense to him."

Thanks for the update - four days really does feel like forever when it comes to this story!

Hot counter sex and adorable schmoopy Jim?!! It's too much perfection!
"He’s unconcerned, but in a very different way than normal. He’s happily unconcerned." Yay, I'm so happy for Jim, he's so content.
"...but she barks the phrase two loaves in response like it’s the eagle flies at night and he thinks he must’ve misheard..." classic.
"He thinks that getting what you want and holding on is sometimes so much better than walking away and he thinks that he’s been waiting for her and he thinks that he should tell her something." Guh. I repeat, guh.

Whew. That paragraph towards the end where Jim "figures it out" and vows to be a good man? That kindof blew me away, stablergirl.

I really enjoyed that even Pam being super annoying was not enough to make Jim doubt himself, in fact it's almost like it made him stronger.

Lastly, fucking Graham. Boo.

Author's Response: well they are pretty into the bickering, so yeah I guess Pam's annoying-ness didn't bother Jim at all ;-)  Thanks for the review!!!

Oh, Jim, you could never been "just coffee." Glad Pam seems to have accepted things. Tiger indeed!

"For why she didn’t just call him three days ago and let him down easy when she first felt the hints of this Jim and Pam hot and heavy, wake up and I need you kind of love story."
I'm so happy Pam thinks it's a love story and not a sex story.

Where d they go from here?? Can't wait to find out!

Author's Response: ugh I'm glad she thinks it's a love story too, although I think it'll take her a while to admit it ;-)

What fun!
“He just showed up here with eggs and then I invited him in and he cut himself and it was just like…that’s it,” I love that this line makes perfect sense to Pam and us readers but it's so random when you read it - funny stuff.

Also - Robert E. Lee - hee!

Lastly, I think Heather's "I want you" face was probably the same as mine when reading it - like fiendish glee and shock. Yay date ahead!!

Author's Response: lol I know, out of context to poor Heather that sentence about the eggs probably made literally zero sense.  Also, I think her I want you face and your I want you face were probably the same as mine when I wrote it ;-)  Thanks for the fast review!! First one on this chapter!

Wait, am I first again? This must be a West-Coast night owl thing...

ANYway, this is a nice chapter and I love how comfortable/uncomfortable they are with each other. Jim's reveal explain so freaking much about his character. Did you have this backstory in your brain from the beginning?

Author's Response:

I did have that backstory planned from the beginning, actually, surprisingly enough! Usually I don't plan anything, but the sibling thing had been bouncing around in my mind since like chapter 3 of this I think, which was wow a long time ago ;-)  And I do think it's a west coast night owl thing, btw.  for sure.  thanks for the review! sorry I took so long responding, it's an illness of mine.

"He can see the way that she knows he’s too open and she knows that this is a thing she has to handle with care. She knows."
KILLER. Glad you took your time with this one...Jim and Pam are taking their time with the sex this go round, so why not you with the writing? :)
Anyway, this chap kindof seeps into your pores, it's very PRESENT if you get what I mean.

Author's Response: I do get what you mean.  thank you, crystalized, glad you liked the slow and steady pace of this one.  It felt like an important chapter so I didn't want to rush it ;-)

"She reaches up and brushes a finger against it and she feels like she wants to tell him her appointments and her birthday and the things she likes to do so that eventually her name will be on every post-it and will cover up and span the paint here, make the wood look completely yellow and full of her. " Guh.

Can't believe there's only one more chapter! Can't wait!

Oh, stablergirl, I am like crying over here! Thank you so much for using your tremendous writing talent and bringing us this story. I have printed it up and bound it, seriously, - it's like 3/4 inch thick even double-sided!
Thank you, thank you!!

Hotel sex! Hotel sex! Hotel sex! Okay, okay, I'm fine with them just talking ;)
Love this bit:
"He sounded exactly the same, was all she could think. After all that had happened shouldn't he sound different? Did she sound different?"

Author's Response:

The rating is currently T - so I don't know how steamy it's going to get.  I've got a couple of different scenarios I'm exploring though. ;)

In the end I'm going to let them tell the story.  And if the story is a romp in the Philly Airport Hilton (or wherever they really are) then so be it. :)

In all seriousness - thank you.  I hope what I have planned does not disappoint.
