I swear to God the next statement I am going to make is true.
My best friend (female, 34 years old, normal American, right?) read this chapter and said "Who's Betty and Veronica?" I was like "Are you kidding?" She wanted me to take it out because she was sure that "only a small minority would get the reference!" I was like "HELL NO! I'm not taking it out. I'm going to spread the Betty and Veronica LOVE!" Go Betty! Get \Archie out of Ronnie's manicured claws of Doom!
