This is well done. I really enjoyed reading this. Love the different character's point of views. The Dwight one was hilarious.
Author's Response: Thanks scors! Ensemble pieces are really fun to write. I'm glad you liked it!
This picks up pre-merger and is spoiler free, a bit AU as well. I began this back in October (maybe even September), and obviously the show has deviated quite a bit from what I speculated here.
This begins with angst, but there is a great deal of fluff, steam, smut, and silly...for several, several chapters. My idea was to go beyond the happy ending, so to speak.

I hadn't read this fic before, so I spent the last two hours catching up. Its amazing. Its too bad that in she show Karen didn't conveniently remove herself like she did in the earlier chapters. The newest chapter was amazing. The speeches were really touching, and I loved the Pam Halpert nameplate at the end.
Author's Response:
Really? Wow, that's terrific to know! I keep saying that in all my responses, but seriously, when I was writing and posting the more dramatic parts of this, lots of people were interested...but it was in October. So I really didn't expect this to generate interest - it's good to know that people are willing to go back and read the whole thing.
Thank you so much for the review!

Wow. I'm speechless. The second chapter almost had me in tears. You wrote their emotions so well, and it seemed so in character for both of them. You really got inside their heads and thoughts. I could go on and on. Please write more!
Author's Response: Thank you :) I hope this doesn't sound terrible, but I love that you almost cried! Because I almost cried too, and I like that I can evoke a real emotional response from people.
Jim's basketball game with the C.F.O. (not his actual initials) gets interrupted with news from what happened at Poor Richard's; he reacts accordingly.

wow! The end of elsewhere was amazing. you write Jim and Pam's thoughts and emotions so well. I loved the kitchen scene, and Pam's comparisons between Jim and Roy. well done!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! Glad you liked Pam's interior monologue, because, as I mentioned in an earlier response, that was something I was concerned about. Thanks again for the review!

Moxie, this is amazing. Each chapter gets better and more exciting. LOVE the part where Jim's favorite color is periwinkle, the color of Pam's CN dress. Great Job!
Date: April 13, 2007 Title: Chapter 14: For I have known them all already, known them all
NOOOOO Moxie!! You cant leave it there! He just told Pam it was him! Please update soon, I don't think I can stand the wait.
There were so many great parts in this chapter. Love everyone's discussion about the "anatomy" poll, and Jim's side thoughts. A few of them made me burst out laughing.
Date: April 21, 2007 Title: Chapter 15: No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be
Awesome as always Moxie. You have a real talent for writing sweet and genuine conversations between Jim and Pam. Jim's heartfelt explanation and confession that he still loved her made me really happy. I cant wait for an update! This is seriously much more fun to read than Harry Potter.

This fic has so much fluff you could stuff a bear-but I love that. Everything is so in character, from the playful bantering, to Jim persuading Pam to let him take her to Europe. Please write more. Soon!
Author's Response: Glad you thought it was in character, scors7. And yeah, my last story was pretty angsty, so I needed to write something good and frothy to counteract the effect! Thanks for reviewing!
Post The Negotiation (no spoilers).
My attempt at working it all out. This will span ten chapters and will include flashbacks to previous episodes/seasons.

I cant get over how real everything feels. Everything-the dialog, inner thoughts, and actions are so true to character. I loved how you wrote Jim's resignation and bitterness about what happened on casino night, and his inner conflict between his feelings for Pam and wanting to stay with Karen.
Author's Response: Well that's about the best compliment I could get - seriously. Thank you so much, and thanks for the review!
Date: April 10, 2007 Title: Chapter 8: Chapter 8
Amazing, as usual. As I said before, the way you write each character's thoughts and reactions fit them perfectly. You really know how to sock it to the grief bone. And I mean that in a good way.
Author's Response:
Thank you so much. Hopefully I will sock it to the angry bone in the next chapter, and then to the...um, smut bone in the final one. (There is something just intrinsically wrong with that phrase, "smut bone." Yikes.)
Thanks for reviewing!
Date: April 07, 2007 Title: Chapter 1: Chapter 1
I've really enjoyed your other stuff and was excited to see you wrote another story. This is amazing. You write Jim and Pam's thoughts and emotions so well, as well as the situation they are in. I was tearing up while reading the third chapter. This is off to a great start. I cant wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response:
Thanks so much - it's always a treat to hear that someone likes the older stuff, too. (I actually like it a lot more than most of the newer stuff that I've written, which probably says sad things about me as a writer - heh.)
Thanks for the review!

oh man this is so depressing but so good at the same time. Love how you've gotten inside Jim's head and are exploring the dark side of him. You've captured his resignation and bitterness towards Pam really well, as well as his twisted enjoyment in intentionally hurting her. this is really good
Author's Response: Thanks for the feedback -- much appreciated! Jim has been so hard to watch lately -- so cold to Pam (and Karen too for that matter). Anyway I finished this story with a healthy dose of wishful thinking applied. Thanks!

Swedge, I know you dont know me but...will you marry me? This was hilarious. Love the Jim Dwight banter and the Karen email reply. Your sense of humor is great.
Crossover between the Saw movies and The Office. The Jigsaw killer kidnaps Jim and puts him to a horrific test. Like all games with this deranged killer, however, there are cruel twists waiting at every juncture. Updated CH4 -- Everyone is in a tough spot-- How does it all end?

I never thought I'd see a saw and office crossover. The characters seem so innocent and and carefree, and to put them through this torture seems almost cruel. That's just how I saw it though. Apparently you don't mind subjecting them to torture. :P (I don't mean that as a dig, I mean that in jest.)
Anyway, this is great so far! I can see this is going to get more creepy and grisly as it goes on. Thats alright. As long as the violence and grisliness is not too over the top, i'll be ok. Keep going with this!!
No matter how much this couple is perfect for each other, they are bound to have flaws. Jim and Pam head to marriage counseling, and learn to deal with their issues in a semi adult manner.

This was really entertaining and interesting. Great dialog and characterizations!
It was great to hear their point of view of the relationship, as well as hear them acknowledging their problems with communication and insecurities. I like that the story is told from the counselor's point of view. Can't wait for an update.
Author's Response:
Thank you for the compliments. I try to stay in character, god knows I watch the DVDs practically all the time. I love the counselor's part because having it out the eyes of someone who can't see what their thinking and basing their assumptions of JAM purely off of their body language and words is a fun concept. Keeps it real.
Date: April 28, 2007 Title: Chapter 3: Half off
Aw that was sad, but sweet. I love how realistic everything feels, and how it seems plausible that they would have conflicting views over having children. You can still see that they completely love each other though. Please write more!
Date: April 29, 2007 Title: Chapter 5: Oh Brother!
Great chapter! Love the conversation regarding Jim's injury and the banter from Jim and Pam throughout the chapter, especially at the end. I laughed when Pam asked what the winner received and they turned the simple excersise into a competition. That sounds exactly like something they would do. Cant wait for more.
An inevitable conversation following Beach Games.

I'm really impressed with your writing. This is terrific so far. Love the way you write Karen and Pam, and their dialog. Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words!
