He really can say what’s he’s thinking, what he’s feeling, and it’s more than before because now, he can tell her anything.

That makes me think of Drug Testing "you can tell me anything" -- you probably meant that parallel. ;)

I love his answer about the terrace, because it already conveys to her that he's seeing them together too.

It's just really lovely, and so nicely written.  Very flowing.  Nice job, shootingstars

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your lovely comments. I hadn\'t even thought of the Drug Testing parallel with that line but you\'re totally right, it\'s a real parallel moment.\r\nThis whole story, aside from being inspired by Chair Model, was really built around the terrace part so I\'m glad you liked that bit.\r\nThanks again :)

That is sooooo good.  I don't think you're impersonating a writer, dearie. ;)  Welcome to the world of writers. :)

I had never heard of this poem, but it was very easy to get into your versions of it.  It was great that you put the original poem at the end to compare to.

I honestly just loved this, though.

Author's Response:

Aww, you just made me squee a bit!  I love it.

I love the poem, it's one of those things that is so simple, but so much can be read into it. I'm really hoping it catches on and other people start using the poem as a base like the 55 word challenge.

Thanks for commenting and complimenting! ;)

I love the bit about Meredith and Jake stocking the kitchen with food and such, preparing for social services.  I really just love what this story chooses to be.  You've left me no choice but to favorite it, as well.

Ha!  Are there more chapters, then?  Each with increasingly bad results?

Someone could go through the elevator doors and fall to their death, a la LA Law.  It would have to be one of the most beloved characters, so...not Toby. ;)

Or, Jim could have proposed, Pam could have said "Okay," and then Ryan could have walked in on Jim and Karen having sex in the office.  That would be worse than...anything, really.

Is this "it could have been worse" therapy helpful to the broken JAM heart?  I'm taking the "I'm determined not to give a crap about JAM" stance.  We'll see how that goes.

Thanks for the story. :)

Author's Response:

Thanks for the review, Kev!

I hope this helps us be relieved that we didn't get worse than we got! Your ideas are pretty good, but at least one of mine is much worse than either of them! That's probably the one I'll finish with.

Reviewer: Too Late Kev Signed

Ha!  Yep, this would have been worse. ;)

Also, to truly parallel Gilmore Girls, Jim will have to try to keep his time with Sadie totally separate from his time with Pam, and Pam will have to uncharacteristically step back and give him way, way, waaaaay too much space and time.

Oh, and Pam needs to give him an ultimatum, an almost certain relationship-buster. ;)

At least this is just fanfic; no one chose to film this, so you're way ahead of Gilmore Girls where someone inexplicably did.

Author's Response:

I don't think I have the heart to write out all the horrible details. That's why I'm keeping these short and to the point. I'm just glad we won't ever have to see it.

Ha!  That's awesome, and so typical.  Honestly, if war has broken out, let me know.  Anything else can probably wait until a scheduled break. ;)

This is probably my new favorite.

Author's Response:

A war? This is The Office! Unless we're being attacked, leave me alone. Just kidding (mostly).

Actually, this was also kinda inspired by Gilmore Girls. I originally missed Lorelai's proposal because it happened after the hour mark and CW forgot to inform anyone that was happening, so the DVR scheduling didn't accomodate it.

 Thanks for the review!

It looks very promising, Azlin!  So Jim is notably absent.  Is he the Prince Charming that comes after Katy?  I like how Pam takes an immediate dislike to Katy.  I can't imagine anyone disliking the princess in Enchanted, but that is really working for you here.

Nice job! :)
