I needed some cheering up, so in that vein, here is an incredibly un-angsty little piece of fluff. It's only three parts long and it's almost all done.
Pam and Jim reconnect in the most unlikely of all places...
Don't you dare leave it at this! I'm really loving this fic and can't wait to see what you cook up for their backstories.
Even though I'm a fan of Jim and Pam, I can see Jim reacting this way. He would want to comfort Karen in front of the people she was embarassed(?) in front of. But that is a lot like Pam declaring all of this with their peers watching and listening, so that Jim couldn't run or brush it off, and kind of make herself just say it all once she got started. Jim and Pam try to reinforce their denial by trying to convince others of it.
Michael's Farewell Party turns into an unexpected night for Jim and Pam.
While I was reading this, I thought about how funny it would have been if Jim and Pam just freaking attacked each other in the office in the season finale...Pam's at her desk and Jim walks in and they just launch towards the other, all sloppy kisses and such. lol...oh, tequila, you are evil.
I think you mean girl’s locker room, and in the fantasy, there’s usually girls in it.

Pam and Kelly's friendship is something that I'd really like to see fleshed out on the show and I think you did a good job of that here. I think Pam would be more than willing to help Kelly out with the Ryan aftermath :)

A bit of an AU look at Jim and Pam, and a rather depressing relationship. First chapter takes place following Phyllis' wedding and then it goes from there. Does not take into account the events that take place in following episodes.
Not a happy piece of writing, I figured I'd take a different approach from the fluffier post-finale stories. I don't think there will be any fluff in this one.
Ha! I love Pam screwing Jim and then just leaving! That is awesome. Jim is just so dumb sometimes; I don't get it :)
She’s got to hand it to him, to have the stamina to fuck two girls in one night and vehemently deny it is quite a feat – especially for Jim. Yeah, my God, Jim could NEVER lie his way out of something like that. No way.
I really like that both Pam and Karen are really powerful in this fic. You don't see that very often, so kudos!
I think it's kind of funny that Karen slapped him. I had her punch him in the face in one of mine after Cocktails, so you know, more power to ya! He'd have it coming to him if she ever did though.

A series of one-shots. There are times when Jim and Pam's relationship seem a little supernatural.
As an art history grad student I have to say good job with the art stuff! As I was reading, I was thinking, "uh, that Goya is in the Prado...how did they end up in Spain?" But the sketch part straightened me out :)
And I am now compelled to read Salem's Lot. Good summer reading so I won't be scared!
He is Caesar, but he has lost the war....That is just awesome. I love the smart conceits that people use here to create their fic. This is a great one!!! And having Mark's gf comfort Jim? I never would have thought of that and it makes perfect, lovely sense :)

ahhh...I think I felt as relieved as Pam did at the end...for as sassy as Pam got at the end of the season (which I know had not come to pass when you wrote this) she still has a lot of quiet sides to her and I think you captured that really well. I really hope that they do some more with Pam's art next season; I want to see what her stule has become now that she is fancy and new, don't you?

I think it's bold as love. *grin* Still, there's a softness inherent to the Pam character that I think is important for them to keep, and maybe her art will reflect that. But you can have a quiet piece with boldness in it; it's all in how you hold the brush.

Spoilers for the finale. What I envision happened after Jim left the room and the cameras stopped rolling...sort of.
"She whipped around, threw her chair in their path, slammed the door shut behind her, and tore through the office. She ignored the questioning stares of her coworkers and her last sensible thought (Did you really just throw a chair at the camera crew?)"
Woo hoo! I would love for the camera crew to chase Jim and Pam around Scranton in the S4 premiere to try and catch them in a compromising position. Which will never happen, but that's ok. That's why we have fanfic :)
