I value a planet that contains Jim, Pam, and fabulous writers like yourself; hence, a review :)  Lovely story: Dwight was spot (spout?)-on and I like that you had Pam checking things out before Jim even knew that she'd gotten the teapot back.  *Happy New Year!*

Author's Response: Thank you from both the planet and myself :) Excellent spout pun, by the way.

XD that's hilarious!  I was laughing out loud for about, um, all of it...and I must say, the dundiefromgod is wise as well.

Author's Response:

Oh, you're too kind. I'm glad that you found it funny, this was just a little crazy late-night idea that I had. So I wrote it quick and posted it.

And am I wise? *thinks while channeling his inner-Dwight*

Yes. I am like a dolphin who did it with a monkey, but who then went under that treatment from that book Flowers for Algernon. And then, who didn't lose the intelligence. So yeah....

Thanks for the review secondrink.

airports seem to serve you well :) great dialogue and the part about Kelly was so funny! Too bad I'm reading this at the 'Bucks, because I have to stiffle my giggles. Have great flight!

Author's Response: Don't hold back secondrink - just go right ahead and lol.  I can't say the flight was great - but I got here at least. :)   Thanks so much!

Yeah!  I so deeply wanted to see or hear about this confrontation on the show this season (single tear) and I really like the natural way that you've covered it.  The way they express themselves in your dialogue is pretty much how I think they would too :) Especially this line from Jim: “The fact that I wanted you for so long I didn’t bother to dream about anything else?”

I think they'll be having this argument for a long time to come though...Jim has a lot of adjusting to do now that his greatest dream has come true.

Author's Response: thanks so much! I agonize over dialog, its so hard to get down, especially these two, and I constantly struggle with it, so it means so much that you felt it was in character. I know how often times one word or phrase that is OOC can take the reader right out of the story. I really appreciate the review! :)

Summary:

"Steer clear Big Tuna. Head for open waters."

There was a part of Jim's life in Stamford that he only shared with her.

whoa.  That was intense, but things like this definitely happen and I like your take on that situation.  I so hope that we see Angela's sister someday.

Also: do you live in NEPA or were you at the convention when someone mentioned the Carbondale Alien and Mindy Kaling about lost it because she'd never heard about it!?  That was so hilarious and amazing...great pen name!

Author's Response: I\'d love it if we got a glimpse of Angela\'s sister. I\'m sure the reason Angela doesn\'t talk to her is a million times less angsty than this story and is actually probably hilarious (like accidentally de-alphabetizing Angela\'s CD collection or something, ha).\r\n\r\nYes and yes. It was actually my question. A woman came up to our row and wanted to know if we had a question and it immediately popped into my mind. If they don\'t write it into the show, I\'m definitely going to have write about Dwight\'s search for the CarbondAlien/the truth. ;)

Wow! I'm kinda really likin' this AU The Injury :).  That story doesn't get treated in fic very often; nice idea!

Author's Response: Thanks! It really doesn\'t have a lot to do with the episode itself. It really just gave me the setup I needed for this story.

Oh, man, you are too cruel!  Are you seriously going to destroy Ryan's two-sizes-too-small heart? haha...I'm really enjoying the AU-ness of this and am excited for what's up next :)  And I love drunk Gray's Papaya nights, good choice

Author's Response:

"Are you seriously going to destroy Ryan's two-sizes-too-small heart?"

HEE. Okay, honestly, this is like my single most-loved piece of feedback right now. NICE. Thank you!

Yes! That was kind of delicious to watch (?)...Ryan's reactions are so spot-on; you are mah-velous.  Also: I think a story from Hunter's p.o.v. is in order.  Just sayin'

Author's Response: Thanks so much! And hee, I would LOVE a fic from Hunter's pov. Poor Hunter, so abused.

Wow.  Why did it take me four chapters to realize that the titles were from A Philadelphia Story; it's not like you see/hear/read the word "yar" everyday...

This continues to be the best Ryan characterization I've read, complete with his deep abiding love of chicken fingers.  And I love that Toby just radiates "pathetic"...why is that? Shouldn't he be a beam of sympathy or something as the HR guy?  Anyway, still loving this :)

Author's Response:

Oh man, thanks so much, I'm really glad you think so! And heh. I love Toby, but man, he really is the pathetic-est. I'm not even sure why.

Thanks for reading!

Too weird a concept to continue?

Oh my gosh, no!  This is a great idea; it's such a fun way to explore the differences and similarities between the characters.   At times Karen and Angela are semi-alike in their inner-strength for example.  Keep it up!

Author's Response: Agreed! There is a definite Karen/Angela similarity.  Thanks for the encouragement! I'm going to keep going I think.
