I really wish we saw more Phyllis on the show because she would totally be just like the way you've written her. Great work on the characters as always. Loved it, just like everything else you write. :) Also, when I first saw the title, I thought "Moxie is writing a cowboy story now??" And I still didn't get it until several minutes later. Good grief, what is wrong with me?! Time to go to bed.

This was just hysterical. I can totally see this conference room scene happening. I love that Pam is starting to get on Devil Pam's side. I also love that Angela called Pam a hussy. Great details on Angela by the way. Oh, and I really love the last part where Angel agrees about checking Jim out. Love it love it love it. I hope to see an update soon.

Pam and Jim are engaged and planning their upcoming wedding, but Jim has a peculiar temporary living arrangement. This story is one week of at-work emails surrounding the situation. Please note that Fancy New Beesly is in full bloom; she takes a hard line with Michael these days.FNB indeed! Did this idea of Michael's actually come out of Maxim magazine or just your twisted imagination? J/K. ;) This story is hilarious. "double boober thing"? LMFAO. Seriously, sooo Michael. Actually, I know nothing about Maxim magazine, or whether it would have this sort of thing in it. In all seriousness, the idea came from a combination of two things. One, years ago when I was a brand new mom, I belonged to a newsgroup for nursing moms, and sometimes trollish guys would post, trying to get exactly this type of thing from the nursing moms. We threw those nasty trolls off, but they do exist. The other thing was a serious article for adoptive moms who wanted to try to nurse, and how to get their bodies to do that even though they hadn't been pregnant. From those two bizarre sources, a bizarre Michael sub-plot was born. (And nourished - ba dum bump.) That was probably way more than you wanted to know. TMI, my friend. TMI.
Also, Michael is the sort of person who doesn't think about things first. Remember how he really wanted a stripper for his birthday? And then he wanted the stripper in Ben Franklin until she 'danced up on' him? I could see him reading something like this and following blindly until...EWWWW!
There should be 5 chapters, Monday through Friday, one a day throughout this week. That's the hope, providing my betas and I can manage it. It should be done before the premiere, anyway.
I also thought "double boober thing" sounded very Michael.

I haven't reviewed the chapters, so I will do each one now (in an effort to get that fourth chapter posted, lol). This first chapter absolutely broke my heart. How in the world did Pam think that abandoning everyone would make things better? I feel so bad for all of the little children and Jim. Please make it better for them. :(
I'm relieved that Pam is keeping in touch with the children. How awful that must feel to not see your babies for almost three years. It's hard for me to believe that Pam's mom didn't knock some sense into her, seriously.
Yay for Pam coming home. I think its so funny that Angela would threaten Jim to not let his daughter corrupt their daughter. So like her! Please don't leave them hanging like this on Thanksgiving! I want a reunion now, darnit! :) Looking forward to the update.
Yay for the update! Yes, Pam needs ot face the fact that she hurt a lot of people when she left. I can't even begin to think about how her older children feel about all of this. Jim had every right to react the way he did; sadness, anger, shock. He must feel completely dumbfounded knowing what she left over, and that he has a little baby girl he never even knew about. Wow. I hope that he at least wants to meet Mattie and know about her (very soon!), despite his anger at Pam he should still want to see her.

I really like that you are showing the reunion from differing perspectives. Hearing Janie's conflicting reactions and feelings to the situation is very interesting, and shows that while not everything is perfect, there is still a lot of love there. I hope we get to explore this from more of the other kids perspectives, too.
I also think that Michael named one of his kids "Ryan" is absolutely hysterical. And the poor Schrute kids being saddled with those names, and so many of them too! What happened to Angela's dream of a pair of small well-behaved boys? ;) Looks like Dwight won out there.

Wow, two updates in one day! Thanks! I really liked this chapter. I continue to enjoy the shifting perspectives, and think this most definitely adds to the storyline. I must say that I really enjoy conflicted Jim. He is justified to make Pam suffer a bit for all the suffering he has gone through, but it was also very sweet that he is slowly letting his guard come down. He did the right thing to let Janie stay with Pam.
Awwww, love the whole special assistant special pancakes bit. Loved the visual of the snuggling mom and little girl.
The pictures were very cute. I love little Jimmy's hair, how it flips up over his ears. And Mattie, soo sweet. Thanks for the visuals. :)
