9 I knew it! As soon as there was that whole "misinterpreting" line, I knew she knew! Man, this just gets better and better with each chapter.

Imagine if Jim and Pam didn't meet in the office but instead when they were younger. Reunited by the Scranton/Stamford merger with respective fiances in tow will they fall into their old pranking ways? Will Jim fall in love with Pam even though he's engaged? Will Karen be really as into Jim if he's head over heels in love with her? Will Pam go through with the wedding after being reunited with her childhood crush? Stay tuned to find out!

9 This is just amazing. It seems very true to character.
So that was...interesting. Well-written, but I'm a little too shocked right now by Todd Packer getting in the middle of the mafia to give any constructive criticism. Nice.
This story is working out really well, but I have to say I don't like how the author (who, if I'm correct, doesn't ever actually have a name - but then again I could be wrong) suddenly got so snippy to Office Chair after he found out she was 16. Sure, she's not legal yet and was vaguely (or not-so-vaguely) inappropriate, but grudges are just plain mean. Neck Watcher, though, those are some interesting interactions. Good dialogue.
Author's Response: I think the author is just getting a little impatient with her. And maybe he knows something really inappropriate is coming up in the story and he wants to warn her off. Or, it could be that we're in the middle of state testing this week and I've spent 2 days (and have 2 more days ahead of me) staring at 14 year olds who don't want to be cooped up in the same room for 6 hours and they have gotten on my last nerve :) I think he can find some love for her in an upcoming chapter. 8 No, you know what, this really works. I absolutely did not expect to read something like this and have it a) fit in with the show and b) make sense, but it does both. Clever idea, funny fake SN's, and keep writing.
Author's Response: Thanks singular_impatience. I'm glad to know that it works. Sometimes it gets confusing pretending a fictional character is actually a real person watching a fictional show that is actually real....but fictional. I think I just broke my own brain. Appreciate the comments.

I needed some cheering up, so in that vein, here is an incredibly un-angsty little piece of fluff. It's only three parts long and it's almost all done.

9 Well. I'm not angry, but it certainly isn't what I want to happen. It was excellent, though, it really seemed like you understood him. Because he seems determined to hurt Pam. And I really didn't consider that whole because v. for situation. Made a lot of sense, and suddenly her speech did seem more hurtful than clarifying. Again. Which sucks, because I was so damn proud of Pam.
This started as a short little oneshot in response to the All About a Peripheral Character challenge, but some very kind reviewers mentioned it might be cool to continue with this idea. So here it is, the new and improved story of the other Jim and Pam :o)
How does Hunter, Jan's former personal assistant (and I guess Ryan's current assistant), relate to our favorite office? Well, let's just say he's a lot like Jim...
