Bio:

I'm just a college student whose in love with all things The Office. Fanfic keeps me busy when I should be doing other things like studying, cleaning, or, you know, having a life. Plus, it's a lot cheaper than buying books, and you wouldn't believe the amount of fines I incur at the library.

I have a love/love relationship with commas, run-on sentences, and conjunctions. I'll apologize for that now.

This was amazing. So many great parts. Loved "At 4:15 she wonders if she is addicted to sex." and "When the question Are you in good hands? was uttered, he half moaned "You have no idea." Perfect!!

Sometimes art captures life. Sometimes life imitates art. And sometimes that line between art and life becomes a little blurry.

This was beautiful and gave a lot of insight into what Pam must have been thinking after the art show. I'm not an artist at all, but I really liked the details like "cross-hatching". Made me feel like you got Pam's voice right. Nice job!

Author's Response: Yeah, I had to dig into my old art-vocab and try to delve into what it's like to get something all wrong.  I'm glad you feel like I got Pam's voice right.  That's the part that makes me most nervous.  These character's are so well written, I worry that I'm putzing around with a masterpiece and I don't have the skill to match the creators (of these characters).  There's a reason that I haven't written any dialogue.  :)  (Yet)  Thanks again.

This series is great! I loved the image you made of Jim shaving...that's definitely one of my favorites. Such a simple, but intimate, thing shaving is. And I liked this line, "It was a good sound to hear in the dark." It kept the theme nicely. Great job!

Author's Response: Yeah, I guess if there's any 'theme' linking these bits, it's sort of the intimacy within simple, domestic, ordinary moments. With a bit of steam for good measure, of course. Glad the shaving worked for you...I kind of liked thinking about it too, to be honest. LOL. Thanks much, bealsa.

Summary: Five times Jim and Pam think about children, but don’t talk about it…at least, not with each other. Well, four times they don’t and one time they do. You know what, just read the story. You will understand then.

You write. I love. See a theme?

I really liked when in the last part, Pam just blurted out, "Jim, do you want kids?" I could picture that perfectly.

Pam probably did babysit. I hate kids and I babysit. It pays the bar tab. Although, Pam was probably spending the money on something useful. Like art supplies...or books for school. :)

Author's Response:

hum, i see the theme and i like it :).

i love kids and i babysit. and i don't see how anyone could do it if they didn't love it. but then, people who hate it probably don't do it as much as me (aka it is my full time job).

This is heart wrenching and beautiful. Love these lines:

"They all seem to know it's her fault, and she wonders why she didn't know until it was too late."

"There was something missing, and it had always been missing. Now she knows exactly what."

"...and she doesn't know how she's going to upend what amounts to almost half her life just because a shaggy-haired boy with the most beautiful eyes she has ever seen said he loves her."

Those were just so perfect and I think really got across what Pam was going through. How she made herself blind to all of this and that it wasn't something she could decide in the few minutes Jim gave her. Loved it!

Author's Response:

Thank you! :) I'm glad it came out the way I wanted it. I really don't think she saw clearly what was going on until it was too late, and then we were all in a mess.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This was so great! I especially loved #2, and this line from #1 "Jim can always tell when you're lying. You think maybe there's a first time for everything."

There was so much emotion and a great take on what they'll have to deal with post The Job.

Author's Response: I think I definately got the sense after The Job of "well they have their happy ending. but there's still several seasons left. so now what?" that I wanted to explore here. Thanks for reading!

Great start! So many awesome things! I was not expecting Dwight, but loved the prank they pulled on him. I was so proud of Pam for that! This is pretty much how I pictured Roy, too. Are we going to see Roy's brother, I wonder? So many things could happen! I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Wow! Thank you so much for the generous feedback.  Unfortunately it's only a oneshot (although I think I'm going to do a Marywood sequel...) and thereby it is complete.  But I totally agree with you- Roy is such the lumber guy! LOL  Thanks so much for the great review and for reading :)

Thanks so much for writing a part 2! This was so awesome.

The part where Roy didn't get into Marywood, and so can't go to the parties without Pam kills me. I could him using her and walking all over her :(

Loved Packer! So funny and was not expecting that!

"Blonde Ponytail" was great, and I can totally see Pam making up names for people like that.

You NEED to make another part. Maybe Pam runs into Jim in the cafeteria or they have a class together? So many ways this could go. Love it!

Author's Response: Booooo Roy, right? ;-) I'm glad you liked the addition of "Blonde Ponytail"- I was very fearful that it wasn't "Pam" enough, so I'm happy to hear that it worked out. I'm thinking about a part 3... I think I'm a bit in love with college Jim and Pam.... Thanks so much for the awesome review.

Jim and Pam kill my life here. "He was following Pam's lead...and she wasn't talking." That's so *them* and awkward and painful, but you're writing it beautifully. I can't wait for more of this story!

Author's Response: thanks! and thanks for reviewing!
