Per nomadshan's planting the irresistible notion in my head of writing an Out of Control Jim story (along with encouragement from other posters at TWoP - you know who you are).... This is an exploration of what could happen if (when?) Jim and Pam were pushed to the point of losing all control.

He’s been baking her a cupcake on her birthday for the past four years.Random, fluffy sort of season three Jim/Pam. Not for the faint-heartened - extremely dark Jim. Having read a self-help book on "moving on and getting on with your life" Jim Halpert starts a journal to get over Pam.
This is my take on what happens when Pam finally says the words to Jim. For this story, the real problems happen following Pam's admission.
