This whole story is lovely, but, as many others have said, that last paragraph is phenomenal. It's hopeful but there's a little bit of that lingering angst, especially after his contemplation over who's the caboose (ha! loved it!) and the unappreciation for her art from Roy, Ryan, and Oscar. I love stories that touch on Pam's art. I love that we've returned to a place that is special to them without the pain of the parking lot or Chili's. Excellent way to bring them together.
