you are my absolute favorite everything for writing this perfect story. how do you write so realistically????? even if you gave me a piece of that talent (which i am so jealous of) you'd still write perfect stories. now i'm just mad.
but this chapter was fantastic, i just love the plot of these, sweetie. (i love that she calls him that!)

Oh, I'm thoroughly enjoying this story. Every time you update with a new chapter, I go back and reread the entire thing because I just enjoy it that much. You really use such lovely turns of phrases. Amazing. And this part is stunning:

“Your favorite what?” she asked, grinning madly despite it all.
“My favorite.” he repeated warmly, as though it explained. “My favorite everything.”[/i]
Also? There was a part in this chapter that reminded me of a song I thought I'd recommend: Joshua Radin - Growing Up To Do.
And speaking of songs... the Billy Joel song you're using for chapter titles has always been a favorite of mine.

Me, too! Me, too! I'm having such fun! All this talk of bubble baths and pruny fingers and action figures and favorites has me grinning from ear to ear. And that's totally in addition to the fact that I have off from work today AND THIS IS MY OWN KICK-SS CHAPTER! *NanReg spins around in desk chair* Life is so very good. Another great chapter! It would be so like Jim to promote Pam's talents to Wallace. So many little details that add to the mood of the story. Pam's shriveled fintertips and the tepid water ... the silly who would you do game ...
Just loved this:
