I didn't know if she was alive or dead, but I hated to see it end. I hope she doesn't lose the image of the painting in her mind.
Author's Response: I purposely wrote it so the reader would not know if she was alive or dead, so I'm glad that you didn't know! ;D She will never lose the image of the painting, but all good things come to an end, and as new memories and perfections slide into her life, the painting will eventually be forgotten.
