wow, i just read the entire thing in under an hour. this is truly amazing! i love the perspective, and jim and pam's dialog's are so realistic. great job writing this story, it's a pleasure to read. i don't mean to be intrusive, but have you or do you know somebody who's gone through this before. it's so accurate (not that i really know, though)! anyway, hope you update soon, this is a great story so far!
Author's Response: Aw thanks :) It's not intrusive at all. I'm actually going to start college this year as a pre-med student and I've volunteered at quite a few hospitals during high school. I also have my nursing assistant certification so I've worked pretty close with heart patients. I'm pretty much a medical dork :)

This is a very interesting story. Sick Jim/Pam stories usually make me nervous, but I'm hoping for a happy ending here. I'm sure that the journey to a happy ending will be a great read.
Maybe Karen can give Jim her heart. Ok, that's not nice. Only part of me meant it.

There are so many stories where Jim looks after Pam, so it's great to see a story when the roles will be reversed and Pam will be taking care of Jim. We need a good sick Jim fic, so thank you for writing this. I hope you update this often :p
