Oh this story is beyond cute, and this is a simply superb Michael line - I can just see his indignant expression: “Uh, Oscar, do those medical professionals love Pam like I do? Are those medical professionals going to hug and hold Jim when he's scared? I mean I'm practically the Godfather of that baby. They need me.” That's gold.
Plus, this story is bringing the (fictional) reality home that my favorite (fictional) couple, after all the angst, is really having a baby. It's still hard for me to believe.

Yeah, that's pretty close to the conversation I had with the doctor on call when I went into labour. He was very casual about everything and first time mothers are so not casual! It will be interesting to see what Pam's experience is like on the show, especially since it's a comedy.

I want to hug Pam so much, she must be feeling so frigtened aw :(
I loved them looking at the little empty bassinet, made me want to squish them both.
This is so amazing and I cannot wait to read the next part. Oh Michael and Dwight - all I can say is poor Pam AND Jim lol.
