This is has been and continues to be an incredibly compelling story and I've been following throughout (sorry I haven't been reviewing more!). It's so painful but in a really good way because the emotions, drama, tragedy, Jim's wry sense of humor, Holly's patience...it's combined to make a very interesting, intriguing and heart breaking story.

I have to admit I downloaded hoppipolla AND watched 'eternal sunshine of the spotless mind' (very cool movie btw) right after reading this story and I will forever associate both with your writing. I hear sigur ros and I'll think of the two of them listening to it in happy times before they lost each other because I'm a sap like that. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you round up this innovative piece but I wanted you to know I've been enjoying it throughout, so thank you for it :)

Author's Response: Aw...thank you for reviewing, and I'm so glad that you watched Eternal Sunshine. It's one of my favorite movies, and I thought it was important to mention it, because I think that with each Pam story that Jim tells, he falls in love with her more. Pretty similar to the movie...except Jim's not getting his mind erased. And I'm glad you downloaded hoppipolla. It's one of my favorite songs, and I thought it would be something that Jim and Pam WOULD listen to on a cold night, sitting together. :) Thank you for reviewing!

Wow. Where to start?

I adore Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. One of my favorite movies. So the references were fantastic.

Next. That was absolutely heartbreaking. The reason Jim was waiting for the surgery makes sense, i suppose. Pam was driving him to the hospital when she died? :'( I may have teared up. Just a little.

Sooooo...that cliffhanger. not very nice. I suppose I'll forgive you if you update sooner rather than later... ;)

Great job, beermefive!

Author's Response: Sorry about the cliffhanger! I REALLY hated doing that, but the chapter itself was around 12,000 words. I had to cut out some parts because they didn't add to the story. As for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, it is definitely one of the best love stories, and was one of the inspirations for me to write this story. Thank you for the review, and sorry I may have made you tear up...hehe.
