oh wow, this has been one of the best stories i've read here at MTT. great job beer me five! i think i'll keep this short, but i'm thinking that jim died. i wanted him to live throughout the whole story, but reading this chapter, and seeing how everything was wrapped up so nicely - it just made sense, it was his time to go.
great job, you've written a masterpiece, congratulations! i can't wait to see what else you come up with.
and one last thing, usually when i finish a story i feel really sad, sometimes mad at the author for not continuing any further, but i think this actually had a very satisfying ending, even though we didn't see the result. great job with this!

Oy indeed. You sure as heck now how to hit me in the grief bone! I won't cheapen this by a long and rambly response, I'll just say it was beautiful. I had tears in my eyes. And if the way I interpreted the ending is correct, they will live very happily and peacefully together forever. Awww. You had me captivated throughout so great stuff.

Truly amazing ending. Loved it. I'm of the ridiculously dark mindset that Jim didn't make it (breath of fresh air, aren't I? ;) ), but he's happily united with Pam somehow/someway.
