This is set in the summer between seasons 3 and 4, after The Job and before Fun Run.This is somewhat of a departure from my last few fluffy stories. This one will be kind of dark, so be warned.

Basically? Dunder Mifflin never exists. And everyone meets under different circumstances.
The characters are pretty much the same -- personality-wise -- they just have different roles and work different jobs.

Jim spoke first. “Jesus, Pam…” She stood with her back to him and addressed Michael as if Jim had not made a sound…as if Jim did not exist. It was the only way.
Jim's first barbeque was a success and so he decides to have another. Someone breaks into the liquor cabinet and things... take interesting turns.
Jim/Pam smut with a pretty hefty (for me) plot, but LOTS OF DRINKING! Which is always fun.
