Five Little Reminders That Simply Had To Go.
First of all, I'd drive over fifty miles for a box of 108 condoms. But I also drove seventy some miles for a cheesesteak sub once, and I'm kind of crazy.
But, I love the fact that you made what could have been a sensitive topic, where Pam could have come off petty and mean, and you made them both sweet and understanding of each other. Have you thought about a sequel where Jim has to redact Roy, not necessarily his things because its already been a while, but some of Pam's more automatic, engrained habits after her last, long relationship with Roy?
Anyway, awesome job. I really, really liked this.

She grinned widely at him before sitting back in her chair. [Spoilers up to and including Drug Testing for part one. Part two and beyond set in an AU-version of season 4.]Yeah, Jim's defintely a stoner. I wish that would become fanon enough that I could write that little detail into a WIP of mine, but I didn't know how that would be recieved by the masses.
Anyway, I loved this. I love the "three weeks = a while". Pam's perfectly accurate, three weeks is not a while. I love the idea of Jim and Mark and their drug den. Heh.
Seeing how poorly Jim handled breaking up with Katy and then with Karen inspired me to explore how he may have handled previous relationships.10 Lol, the ending killed me. I adore your Jim, crappy breaker upper and all. Oh man, I'm still laughing.

It's obvious that you must have experience with these things as well, and your list should be a must read for anyone who is having to deal with a loved one in the hospital.

There is actually a law that not a lot of people know that says if you go to Sheetz, you have to get an MTO. Even if you're not hungry, you get an MTO.

It's not creepy. My sister lives in Lancaster and I live in Southern Maryland. I make a pit stop at that Sheetz all the time! But I'm on Weight Watchers (65 lbs down, thank you very much!) so I do NOT partake in the MTOs. Law or no. So far, I haven't gotten caught.
And I realized you were right about the rest stops. Lazy writing there. Squishy on the details. I changed it to "gas stations."
I see that Jim and Pam are a little more law abiding than you, haha. I'm going to purposely stop there tonight, just for you.
I can't wait to read more. I'm a sucker for stories where people have to pretend to be married. It's always chock full of mishaps and sexual tension.

AU Season 2, some undetermined amount of time after Booze Cruise. Roy invites Jim to a house party.I remember soon as I read the line about Roy saying Jim was a lucky man, I thought 'wow, the only thing this fandom lacks is swinger stories'. And then there is Jim and Pam hooking up in the laundry room, and we're basically Roy/Katy away from that.
To which I say, rock on with your bad self.
Can't wait for more.
What if Roy was lying when he said he'd never cheated on Pam? What if Pam was always a little less healthy than she let on? What if everything, everywhere, is only meant to fall apart?10 I can't tell you how excited I am to read some dark Pam, with some haunting angst. The line about wholesome names written in sweat between the sheets? That line has been stuck in my head, and I have the attention span of a gnat. I CAN'T WAIT for more.
