Ah, some real insight/hints into why they broke up! I was wondering. Back to sad, but I'm still not losing hope...!

Oh, so sweet! I love his little, ‘Can I kiss you for a little bit?’ and them counting "I love you"s and their meanings.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Semby...really happy you enjoyed this.

Ha! Kevin's such a simple guy. I love that he asked everyone in the office, including Pam. That guy's got class!
Author's Response: I am just waiting for Kevin Malone to grace the cover of Aficionado Weekly, Fine Arts, and all those other high class magazines that Michael subscribes to. Scranton - reknowned universe of high class where Kevin's the epicenter. 10 bucks he uses Grey Poupon instead of that dayglo yellow mustard crap.

Date: July 31, 2007 Title: Chapter 1: Amazing Grace
Ooh, I really like this. You've made her into a great character with a lot of personality, and it's a great voice to get that outsider's perspective on our Dunder Mifflinites. The part that really blew me away was her analysis of Karen, which is SO spot on and yet I'd never thought of it in that way before. Like she knows she’s special and she’s dying to prove it because she’s terrified you’ll think she’s not. - Brilliant!
Author's Response: Oh, Semby, I managed to miss your comment the first time through- I apologize! Thank you so much for the kind comment. I'm so glad that the personality I've imagined for Grace is coming through. Thanks again (and sorry for skipping!)
Date: August 02, 2007 Title: Chapter 3: Was blind, but now I see
Jim's reaction upon realizing that Grace knows/talks to Pam was perfect, and I love that he came up with a way to get her to stall Pam in a way that still left her completely surprised when he turned up to ask her out. Also love that he made arrangements for Karen.
And the last line - wonderful! You left me sincerely hoping she gets her big break soon.
Author's Response: Thank you! I actually re-wrote that "Grace knows Pam" section twice, so it is very good to read that I chose the right version! I love Jim and think he's a good guy, so I wanted to show him trying to be considerate of Karen while still finally making his move on Pam. Thank you again for reading, and for being a supporter of Grace!

Hahaha, at the beginning, I thought that the idea of Angela and Oscar as a couple was the funniest thing ever, but then I read on... there is almost too much funny here! And yay, Phyllis and Bob!
Author's Response:
Phyllis and Bob are the only normal couple, relationship-wise I think we'll ever see on the show. Except they're obsessed about refrigeration, which can't be good for the size of his package.
Did I really type that?
Apparently, yes.

I'm going to agree with other comments and say that I find this... very unlikely, but not impossible. In any case, a very interesting and original idea, and I'm looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Thanks so much! More to come soon!
Date: August 19, 2007 Title: Chapter 6: Finally
Aw, that was sweet. I love his very realistic nervousness, and that it was slightly awkward, but still a great first experience.
Author's Response: Aww, thanks! I knew it had to be a little awkward for his first time, and their first time together, but really sweet at the same time.
This will just be a series of short vignettes about Jim and Pam getting to know one another as they start their adventure into true coupledom. Embarrassing moments, phobias, guilty pleasures....the truth comes out.

Ha! Awesome and adorable. Although, I have to say, I'm with Jim - I'm not a big toe socks fan!
Date: August 07, 2007 Title: Chapter 3: Old Friends - The Thing That Makes Everyone Happy
Heh, cute, with a touch of sweet and meaningful too. It would not surprise me though, that while Pam's been going on for years thinking that make out session meant nothing, Lou's been pining, cursing Roy for getting the girl... my imagination's running wild!
Date: August 09, 2007 Title: Chapter 4: Pillow Talk
HAHA. Oh, wow. I so want to know what dreaming!Pam wanted with all those hammers, too! Very cute.
Date: August 20, 2007 Title: Chapter 6: Film Critic
HA! I *totally* had the same reaction as Jim during that scene. They were making out on top of their robot friend! That's *weird*! Clearly Jim and I are meant to be *cough*
Very cute chapter :)
Date: January 24, 2008 Title: Chapter 9: I Love...Everything
Hee! Very cute chapter. "...and then I'm going to come back and touch you in your private areas..." - That is a new classic line :)

Date: August 07, 2007 Title: Chapter 3: The Odd Couples
Aw, cute chapter! I love the Michael/Pam bonding talk, and I love how Jan pretty much reads Jim perfectly.
Although: I think there's a slight error/mix up in this line: “Thanks, I appreciate it. And you’re partially right: Pam is why I left. But she’s not the only reason I came back.” - It looks to me like it should be Jan speaking, then Jim speaking, but it's all in one line/quote ? Or did I read it wrong?
Author's Response: Thanks for the review!\r\n\r\nYou were right about the error (blushing now). Fixed up the wording to make folks a little less repetitive and redundant, as well as clearer.
Date: August 10, 2007 Title: Chapter 4: Jinx, Buy Me a Coke or Kiss Me
Awww. All in all this was a very fun, cute fic, with a very sweet ending! I think the change in Jinx rules was very wise and understandable :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I appreciate it. I\'ve always thought there always needs to be some flexibility to rules, especially when everyone benefits. :)
A glimpse into the instant messaging history of Jim and Pam. Written with the intention of expanding on what we see on the show, as well as to tie up some loose ends. There will be a conversation for each episode through Season 3.

Date: September 09, 2007 Title: Chapter 30: Gay Witch Hunt
Aw, I'm glad you tackled Casino Night earlier in the day, rather than starting the angsty-non-talking in that chapter. It was nice to have that one more light-ish chapter before this - but this is good too, because while it's heartbreaking to see them disconnected, bringing other people in is fun :) I love how the topic just comes up in the middle of an otherwise ordinary conversation about football, and Jim can act like it doesn't affect him at all.
Author's Response: Yep, part of Jim might be grateful for finding out via IM, it was easy to pretend he wasn't shoked that way . . .
Date: August 29, 2007 Title: Chapter 20: The Secret
Awwwww! Break my heart, why don't you!
Author's Response: Hey, it broke my own heart to write it. Ugh, these kids.
Date: September 10, 2007 Title: Chapter 35: Diwali
Aw, poor Pam. The lines of communication are totally open, and yet there's so much they're not communicating. Tough times for both of them!
Author's Response: Yeah, just a series of miscues and bad timing were getting them the whole season.
Date: September 10, 2007 Title: Chapter 34: Initiation
Aw, yay! I'm glad you posted the non-talking chapters so close together so we could get back to relative okay-ness so soon (for a little while, anyway, possibly). I don't imagine they had much (or any) communication really between The Initiation, that text message, and the Merger, but I could believe them having little awkward chats, rebuilding the bond a little. I love the call back to the art class/kissing Dwight/Michael bet :)
Author's Response: Yeah, I think you just need to read GWH to Initiation in one sitting, it makes it a little easier.
Date: August 05, 2007 Title: Chapter 2: Second Day
Pam called his camera-faces "cute"! *Squee!* That just warms my heart, and I bet it gave Jim a little pick-me-up too :)
Author's Response: I'm sure it did too. I'd like to think that Pam might be a little bolder on IM
Date: August 06, 2007 Title: Chapter 3: Diversity Day
Awww! Jim not bringing her down by telling her he didn't make the sale, and admitting honestly that he felt good by the end of the day! So sweet. If only she knew what he meant.
Author's Response: I'd like to think that he had already kind of forgotten about losing the sale :) (off to watch the shoulder sleep scene again)
Date: August 07, 2007 Title: Chapter 5: The Alliance
This is completely believable as to how a conversation between them would follow that incident, if they addressed it at all. Jim wouldn't be able to keep his opinion completely to himself, and we've seen Pam several times get defensive when her relationship with Roy is called into question. The only real alternative I could see to this conversation is that they would avoid the topic altogether, be a little awkwared but pretend it never happened, which would also feel like Pam to me.
Author's Response:
Yeah, that's kind of the idea I had behind this chapters, that this is how it would go IF they addressed it at all, there's probably going to be more chapter like that (like pretty much all of Season 3).
I also have this idea that Pam, especially in the early episodes, was super intimidated by the cameras and before them she was a little bolder with Jim. Jim said in one episode that he listens to Pam complain about Roy, yet we really only heard her say a handful of negative things about Roy, so I'm thinking she turned to addressing him more in IM.
Anyway, long story, I felt this was realistic, but I don't know how other would feel.
Date: August 12, 2007 Title: Chapter 9: Sexual Harassment
Yay, I love her admitting that she says nice things about him to her mom. And Pam meeting his mom is probably in my top 5 things I want to see on the show!
Author's Response: What I like about this chapter is Jim trying to draw Pam out a little bit; making her clarify that her mom wanted to meet him, and saying "really?" when she says she does talk about him with her mom. I definitely want to see Pam meet Jim's Mom too.
