10 This story really emotionally affects the reader. The topic is serious, but it's realistic. It's very difficult to pull this topic off using the humorous and amusing characters of The Office, but you truly do an amazing job. I almost cry when I read certain parts of this fanfic. That's powerful.

Two days after the Booze Cruise...what might've happened if Jim had confessed sooner.I feel as if I'm emotionally attached to this story. The tension and awkwardness between them is spot-on to how I always thought it would be after Casino Night if he stayed in Scranton. It's not just Pam and Jim are upset and then they talk it out and it's all good. The tension is dragged out a bit throught this chapter like it would be IRL.

Grrrrrrrr -- I'd written this long response to your review, and it got eaten! So let me try this again. :o) I'm glad you found their behavior here believable; I really do think they'd have responded much the same way had they been forced to continue working together. I actually think that's one of the things that was smart about writing in the transfer (even though that came from the British version, if I recall correctly): It enabled the writers to get Jim & Pam past all the angst so that they could start taking tentative steps toward one another again. Granted, I'd have loved to have seen more angst than we did, but it's a comedy, and I know most of the audience doesn't feel that way. So....

I can't stop reading this story. When you post a new chapter, it feels like I get another new episode of the show! Yeah that's how obsessed I am with this story.

I'm glad Roy seemed more upset than anything else. While Roy is usually seen as a person with a horrible temper, I just think (in this situation)he'd be a lot more upset and hurt. I mean it has been 10 years.

A look at the an angsty side of Jim and Pam. Things happen, insecurities come forward, and moments from the past haunt their future. But they will fight through it.
That was really good. I'm not gonna lie; I was wondering how you were going to make it a cute surprise proposal, but it seemed really realistic and had enough of a surprise factor to it. Good job!
I really like this story so far. I'll definitely keep reading.

What if Roy was lying when he said he'd never cheated on Pam? What if Pam was always a little less healthy than she let on? What if everything, everywhere, is only meant to fall apart?This story is so amazing because I loooove the angst-y stories and the dark nature. And it's so deep!
After seeing both chapters, definitely feel this one fits better. I was so surprised how you could create two completely different chapters! I feel the first chapter was too sudden? I don't know if that's the right word, but I like the gradual-ness of this one.
I was wondering how you were going to expose this, and this was the way to do it! I LOVE how you made Jim find out and I love the angst of it! Jim has the right to be mad and I really like what you did with this.
I really enjoy this one. Love the angst. I'm a big fan of the angsty stuff.

Pam moved to New York instead of starting work at Dunder Mifflin. Years later she returns and she meets Jim, but they're at very different points in their lives.This story was gorgeous. I really haven't read a more beautifully written story in a long time. It's hard to come across a story written that well throughout so many chapters and you nailed it. The epilogue could not have been any better and I can't even believe it's over. It's very rare to find a fanfiction that comes across as a perfectly scripted novel/short story. Everything just worked and connected.

Jim and Pam are Jim and Pam, only...not really.Wow, this is impressive. I fully didn't expect to like this because I'm usually not a fan of AU's this extreme, but I saw that it was yours and there were many reviews. I've read it and I'm hooked. Can not wait to see how this goes. The characters are just different enough that they won't be too predictable, but they are still the same. I'm impressed that you got me to like it.
I am so happy you ended it like this. It felt very full-circle and just complete. A lot of times epic fan fics like this fail to really end in a wrapped-up way. Your ending was awesome. Also, I loooove the cheesy quoting and them laughing at the ridiculous-ness of them quoting.
I love the roller coaster effect of emotions. It started off witty, built up some angst, romance/emotional feelings, then went back to witty banter, and now we are back at the angst stage. I LOVE it. I can't wait for another chapter.
I really like how this chapter was more comedic after the couple chapters of almost pure angst. Obviously, there were some serious moments here, but it was a lighter. Don't get me wrong; I LOVE the angst too, but there's plenty of time for angst.

Wow. Wow. I just don't know what else to say. When she brought up him not having a family and not even being good at his job, I was like "ouch," but then his reaction after was what really got me. He's seriously hurt by all this. Man, you are killing me here!
Oh my gosh. I absolutely love this whole 'everyone wants something else until they have it and then they just want the old again' dynamic (if that makes sense). And Jim being nice. This AU Jim you've create has become so real to me that I find "nice Jim" odd just like AU Pam does. Okay I'm rambling. SO excited to see how this turns out.
I laugh out loud at this story. The beefy and delicious? I can't even handle it. It's so amusing and when I'm done reading the chapter, I literally say "Oh come on!" because I need more. So amusing, yet so addicting and well written!
