I'm a college senior, a singer, and one of the many people on this site who looks to The Office to bring a warmth on a cold day. I love this show, these special characters, and the wonderful stories everyone writes about them.
Pam moved to New York instead of starting work at Dunder Mifflin. Years later she returns and she meets Jim, but they're at very different points in their lives.

Jim and Pam are Jim and Pam, only...not really.10 :) best chapter so far. I love the whole thoughts-while-running thing. And just to get it out there i LOVE this entire idea of them playing "themselves".

He goes out, he works, he does not call Pam, even when he's drunk and calls the office, he somehow gets Dwight's extension instead of the main desk, and the following Monday he recieves a very long pamphlet on alcohol abuse, narrated by a green panda.9 wow! Wham bam thank you ma'am on the ENTIRE SHOW right here :) I love it. Jim doesn't get angry enough sometimes...
Great stuff! I definitely want this BIG finale :) Also, SO jim and pam in this last chapter - bravo

Jim and Pam deal with the stuff that comes with being on a hit show...talk shows, radio call-ins, and press junkets. They say there's no such thing as bad publicity, but is that really the case? Watch as Jim and Pam deal with being in the public eye and under the thumb of manipulative network producers. The story is told through interviews, transcripts, web pages and photos.

Great story :) I LOVED how everyone was just silent and staring at Toby's hand :P
The only thing that doesn't work as well is having all of it from Jim's perspective. Some of the reflections (and especially action descriptions) sound a little too deep to be an internal dialogue, and should probably be written from a narrator POV... just a thought :)
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I agree that some things are better explained/described with a narrator...I just have an attachment to first-person perspectives and the sometimes limiting viewpoints. Maybe I\'ll work more on third-person stories though :)

the first date between jim and pam doesn't really go how either of them would expect it to.10 Awesome first date :) Keep writing! I love how complex their relationship is, with her hesitation, love for her new independence, and need for him to be a leader all wrapped up together.

Not sure what happened, but I can't seem to remember the last 10 minutes of "Goodbye, Toby". I guess my DVR screwed up or I blacked out or something. Anyways, here's my take on how it probably went. Let me know how close I was!
