Yay! I'm pretty sure my day was made when I saw an update on this story!
I do have to say this chapter was a little to heavy for me to follow with the medical terms and everything. but I understand its necessary

Author's Response: Hi, raspberryjam. This was probably the most jargon-heavy chapter I'll write. I did want to convey how overwhelming and confusing it is for the family to try to absorb all this information. There might be little snippets like this in future chapters, but probably not to this extent.

!!! I loved this chapter! I can't wait to read the next one. I thought the dialouge was great between jim and pam in the bed. I did think that Angie's was a bit stereotyped but don't take that the wrong way I totally know what you were going for. Great job!
Author's Response: You know I loved this chapter and was really surprised that it got so many fewer reviews than the other recent ones. Goes to show the value of an editor/beta. I don't have one. I think Angie was so over the top it distracted from the rest of the chapter. I've done one quick revision. I will probably do another revision later. I know most people won't go back and re-read it but it'll be a better product.
