I would not know about being drunk, for I have NEVER, not once, not even a little bit, been drunk. So I would not know about being overly friendly and giggly and telling everyone you love them, and not being able to feel your teeth anymore, and calling up friends at three in the morning to tell them that you love them and miss their faces. Or try to drunkenly make toast and almost set the house on fire. I have never done any of that. So I assume that you got Pam spot on.

Drunk!Pam is adorable. And it's adorable that REO Speedwagon is their song, because come on, all of us, even us indie music lovers, kind of dig some cheesy REO Speedwagon. Plus, I saw them at a Pittsburgh Pirates game this summer and they totally rock for old dudes.

I loved this! Excellent!

Author's Response: Oh, no, bashert, me either. I\'ve never had one too many cocktails and tried to make the argument that Joe Biden should watch the movie Iron Man and use it as a how-to guide on how to rule. Or spun my wheelchair mindlessly in circles. Never ever. ;) Glad you enjoyed this! I agree - everyone has a cheesy music soft spot! Thanks so much! :)

Summary: Andy and Erin dance, and they're bad at it, but that's OK, because they're having fun with it, and their lives need all the fun they can manage.

This? Is adorable. I think Erin/Andy are my favorite non-Jim and Pam couple. I love this!

Author's Response: I like the non-dysfunctional couples. While Andy/Erin isn\'t official, I could easily see it becoming that, and being happily functional. :) Thanks for the review.

It's so nice when both of your favorite fictional worlds collide. I can see Michael fitting in perfectly in Stars Hollow. I am really enjoying this so far.

Summary: Roy gets an invitation in the mail. Title and inspiration from Death Cab's "You Can Do Better Than Me." That song has always reminded me of Roy.

So, I loved this. For several reasons. First, I love that song. Like a whole lot. Second, you mention the Steelers. AND I LOVE THE STEELERS. So you epically win for life.

And also, or third, I guess, I love the idea of Roy getting invited to the wedding. Heartbreaking, really, the line about him trying to stay on the wagon, and the fact that Pam was everything he wanted. Because poor Roy, he thought she was happy and she wasn't, and he lost his job and his girl and that blows.

Great job!

Summary: Feelin' kind of inspired this morning...Hope you all enjoy a little pre- JAM wedding short.  I really don't THINK there are any spoilers unless you're of the mind that they are not ever getting married. :-)

Sigh. This is adorable. I kind of can't wait to see their wedding play out, and I also know that unless they use your fic word for word I will be disappointed. Because this? Is love. I want to wrap this fic up in a hug and squeeze it really tight.

So awesome.

I just heard of the Push Gift like two months ago when my cousin's husband got her a necklace. I had to laugh when I read this, because I said to my mom when she told me about the PG (as I referred to it), "Isn't the baby the gift you get for pushing?" So yeah, it's good to know I fall on the Pam side of thinking instead of the Kelly side of thinking.

This is all kinds of adorable and love. Seriously, that last line is pretty much the sweetest line ever.

Great job!

Author's Response: Yeah, I must say I'm with you and Pam...Not that I would turn down a gift, mind you!  But the way it's always described  in the media is so "demanding" (for lack of a better term).  Some girls were talking about it on the boards and about how in their families things of more of a sentimental value have been passed down as gifts after a woman has a baby...THAT I can get behind.

Good gravy, this is angsty and realistic and awesome. It is so believably real and heartbreaking and just...gah! (P.S. Gah is actually good. Just in case you aren't adept at translating bashert).

Awesome. Just beautiful and realistic and awesome.

Author's Response: Bashert, I think you're such an amazing writer so thank you so, so much!

Dude. That was hot. And more than a little emotional and more than a little awesome. And just...yes.

And the last line? Made of win. Honestly. Actually the whole thing is made of win. The WHOLE thing.

Author's Response: YOU are made of win bashert. For you to say these things to me means a lot.  You know I think the world of your writing.

I'm not sure what I can add that hasn't been said already (I'm late to the party because of a lack of electricity. Thanks, Winter Storm 2010). But I could not NOT review. This was perfect. Beautiful and simple and dead on and just perfect.

And the end? Gah! Just...broke my heart. I loved it. Great, great, great, GREAT job.

Author's Response: Thank you! So pleased you liked it - and thanks for taking the time to comment, Winter Storm 2010 notwithstanding! :)

This is awesome! I wondered where Jim was. And strange that you posted, because I just thought about how I haven't written in forever and I should write something. This, though, is spot on and perfect and I can feel Pam's exhaustion and frustration with both their coworkers AND Jim. Great, great job.
