Verrry interesting take on Carol (and no, I didn't mean that in Michael's 'interesting take on Dorothy' tone)! Good line about the hesitation in her posture. It's especially great because it's about being a ballerina where posture is everything.
I like that she has some unrealized dreams, too, and I wouldn't mind of you totally write her life story. Isn't fanfic great??

I like how Meredith and Katy are already boy-crazy, and Angela and Phyllis just make me smile. I wish Phyllis would have had some kids! Karen's was really interesting, I can completely see her wanting to be something way cooler than a vet. I'm loving what you're coming up with!

This is a promising start- I LOVE Pam's conflicting feelings about Roy. She was with him for so long that they must have been happy, and I can really see how she might have a hard time watching him move on as she's moving on. I really liked that you included that feeling.

I thinkmI'm really going to like this story! I like that it's from karen's POV, it really changes things. I liked this:
Well, what she needed to say was basically that she is in love with my fucking boyfriend, and that she called off her wedding for him, and now she's pissed that he doesn't give her the time of day. Everyone just sat there staring, and I wanted to get up and slap her but I was kind of stunned. She said her feet hurt and flounced away, while Jim just sat there looking pale as a ghost. I was so angry, but I didn't know what to say, and before I knew it he was going after her.
Very nice!
Again, I really like this! You've pointed out how all of this would hurt karen, and it's spot on! I like how she's not portrayed as a villain. I can't wait to read the rest!
Yet another story inspired by a song by Ingrid Michaelson called Breakable. I really wanted to tell a story about people being just that -- breakable, and ultimately how grace helps keep us from falling apart. So yeah -- a nice fluffy holiday piece. ;-)Oh dear, I can tell this is going to be a sad one, but I'm very intrigued! I love how you've portrayed everyone, especially Roy. Can't wait to read the rest!

They had agreed to be friends and this was the sort of thing a friend would do for a friend. Even if they hadn't spoken to each other since the conversation where they decided to stay friends.
I love this thought, it's so true, we've all been there in some form.
Once, at her insistence, he had tried to teach her what all the tools were, but she couldn't differentiate between wrench types and he got frustrated and gave up. She supposed she couldn't get mad at him for that, because if she had ever tried to explain a monochromatic color scheme, the same thing would probably have happened.
Again, this is a fantastic sentiment.
Carbondalien, this story was awesome! I really liked how Roy wasn't portrayed as the bad guy, just not the right guy. You've captured Pam's growth in a single shot, and it's fantastic.
