very realistic dialog!!! and all together great idea for this story, i'm so glad you continued, and i can't believe i hadn't discovered this sooner.

Summary: This picks up post-"Job Fair" and follows through what I choose to believe happened after Toby's goodbye party. :o) Hopefully it'll leave those of you who were disgruntled by the non-proposal in the finale...well, a little more gruntled.

3. A Proposal Fic - therefore I love it automatically

5. Dwight speaking to the police - apparently the one group of people that he things are superior to him

wow. i must admit it pained me to read that jim wanted pam to be jealous - but i can see where he was coming from. i guess i like jim always on the outside - but i don't necessarily always appreciate his motives or thoughts. but this was very well done - a chapter i would have found impossible to write but yet you seem to have done it perfectly. i'm really excited to see what happens next and how jim responds to the package and what the painting is of. probably of jim and how pam sees him in her mind. that's my guess.

Oh my goodness, that was beautiful! Sometimes the dialog can be unbelievably unrealistic, but this was just perfect. Fantastic job! I think this is my favorite proposal story, not just choosing a different night or continuing to propose at the office, but going somewhere else, somewhere equally important to their relationship. I just can't say enough how Jim's words were so beautiful. I want somebody to say that to me!
