Rooftop of lurve and cheesy sandwiches and cheesy pizza is the perfect place. I'm going to pretend this is the mystery flashback they are going to show us in the season premiere.
BTW -- that was a long 9 minutes. You're lucky it was worth the wait.

You win the Dundie for 'post finale fic I most want to become canon'. I love it. This is about the only thing that will make up for my disappointment from Thursday.
The bookending of Jim rushing towards New York from Scranton is something the writers would totally do. And a cold open in September of Jim's hand with his wedding ring would be a nice callback to GWH. And they could tell the story of the engagement in flashback. (Heck, the cameras could tail Jim, why not?)

I hope Jim doesn't wait that long, but I can see how he might. Hell, it took him three years to tell Pam how he felt, he probably feels a bit snakebit right about now...

Cheese is good. I don't know how I'm going to get through the summer, so I'm pretty sure Jim will be going out of his ever-lovin' mind. Loved the detail that the velvet box is getting a little worn out -- heck, he's had it a freaking year!!
Yes, keep going -- but I think you have the title backward -- seems more like Jim is the one doing the waiting.
How pathetic that I have started to hate the summers because I want to see what Jim & Pam are doing!!

Nekkid Jam!Fights are the best. And I think Jim was a little peeved at Toby's behavior -- not enough to pull a Roy, but enough that there was some discussion, definitely.
Author's Response: as much as i'd love to write a fic where jim punches the crap out of toby, i think we all know we just won't see that b/c he's not that guy. so i wrote this - which is the situation i think we'd see. jim had a bad night, displaces his anger/frustration, but as always pam is very persuasive :)

Pam married Roy and moved to California after "Casino Night," and Jim gave up. But then he started getting the letters...The 'garbage punch' is a good rule to live by. Mine is never to drink anything served out of a washing machine. Also a true story. (Buy the plane ticket, Jim!!!)
