Aw, this is really cute! I love that the quartet showed up for both of them; so adorable. I also like their banter, and the fact that Pam was concerned about both Karen's feelings and moving too quickly with Jim- I think both of those touches were nicely realistic. There are a few places where you could edit to make the story read a bit more smoothly- in those places, you overstate or your meaning is a little unclear. For example, "By the end of the day, Pam was ready to leave" in its context is a bit awkward. It's hard to tell if you mean Pam is so fed up with the day that she can't wait to get out of there, or she's just finished putting on her coat and collecting her things and is literally ready to exit the building, in which case "By the end of the day" sounds awkward. Hope that helps on the editing end. Keep up the good work, and thanks for a really sweet V day story!
Author's Response:
Thank you so much for the pointers. I value your opinions and review. It means alot to me to have such a great review! I will definately be going back to fix a few things that I missed. My Beta reader warned me about those places but I didnt get around to editing them yet! But, thank you again!

Date: April 16, 2007 Title: Chapter 3: Declaration
This chapter was really beautiful (even the last line- Pam's eyes glowing in the moonlight- what a great image!). I can picture the outdoor setting perfectly, and I think you hit exactly the right notes as far as their conversation, how much needed to be said, and how much could be understood. I'm a big fan of less angst is more when it comes to the conversation where Jim and Pam finally understand each other- and to me, this was practically perfect (very few tears, yay!). I also like seeing things from Jim's perspective- that's a nice touch. So, well done!
Author's Response: Thank you! Yeah, I'm all about less angst at this point! Glad you enjoyed it - thanks for reading. :D

This is a little heartbreaking, but I like it. You've done a nice job capturing utter despair and a feeling of almost no self-worth. Poor Jim.
