I really like this. The pacing is perfect and I can practically feel how tired Jim is. That kind of tired is the worst - mentally and physically. This is believable, too, because I think towards the end of S3 Jim always looked SO tired. Especially in The Negotiation, Product Recall, and Women's Appreciation.

So I sat down for a minute just to catch up online and WHAT? New girl7? I was so excited I think I forgot to breathe for a minute! YAY!
As usual, you never disappoint. I'm especially excited to see where this goes because I think there was so, so much going on in Jim's head in those last few scenes of Money. Who better to dissect and turn it into fanfic than you? No one, that's who! So, I await patiently for the next chapter, which I know will rock like this one does. :)

All right, so first of all: While I sort of shamelessly embrace all reviews (and am really stupidly thrilled at every single one, honestly), it's especially exciting to see a review from someone who regularly comments on all my stuff -- makes me feel as if it's in perspective, if that makes any sense.
In short: Seeing a Timbuck2/kells review makes me all kinds of smiley! :o) (See?)
It's such a relief to get feedback on this, because honestly, I wrote the initial draft immediately after "Money" and wasn't sure what to make of it. (There are some episodes that end, and I just look at Mr. Girl7 & say, "Okay...mind if we do our own thing for a while?" ....And he knows I've got to go write, LOL. That episode was one of those times.)
That said, I was worried I wouldn't do the nuances justice -- because I think there was a lot that hadn't been said between Jim & Pam at that point. (Otherwise, why would he have looked so shaken after talking to Dwight? And what about the kiss?)
The things left unsaid is/are the driving force of this fic -- and I'll leave it at that, lest I totally tip my hand. :o)

This was, as usual, awesome. I love the scenario you created for their first time. You're building things up nicely - from Jim being hesitant to Pam sensing this and therefore holding off a bit. It's very real and I can't wait to see it all sort of come to a head! More, soon, please :)

Hey you! Glad you enjoyed the first time scenario -- I wanted there to be a little bit of...restraint there, simply because the premise of this story rests on my belief that Jim's seeming epiphany in the stairwell (and the kiss that followed it) are what led to him finally letting down all the walls with Pam. I do think he was a tad reticient with her prior to that point (and who could blame him, really).

So much love for this story. I love how Jim is protective of her even when he's angry. The way he buckles her in and then later helps her get out of the car.
I was sad when he wanted to go home but so happy that he came back.

Oh no. Poor Pam. Poor Jim. What a mess. This is so sad but unfortunately a very real situation that they could be in at some point. It makes me sad that Jim has to deal with Roy on top of all that is going on. It's hard when someone you love shuts you out and all you want to do is be there for them. Very, very hard.
This is so good though. I mean I've always loved your writing and this is no exception. You manage to convey so much emotion in the most mundane conversations. Jim jumping on Pam talking about how she used to work there in an effort to simply be them again....so good. I can't wait to see where this goes, but I won't lie I'm worried my grief bone might take a beating.

My heart hurts a little right now. Poor Jim. He feels so left out and he's being so patient. I feel horrible for Pam that she feels she's got to keep it together and keep it all in when she probably just wants to scream at the top of her lungs. I really hope she lets him help her. PLEASE!
