Jim sees a therapist. Starts in the midst of season two. Loving the style of this story. Its very powerful only hearing Jim's side of the conversation. Like you are trapped inside his head or something.

Per nomadshan's planting the irresistible notion in my head of writing an Out of Control Jim story (along with encouragement from other posters at TWoP - you know who you are).... This is an exploration of what could happen if (when?) Jim and Pam were pushed to the point of losing all control.
Ah! You manage to raise the bar with every chapter girl. And the fact that you actually made me laugh out loud in the midst of a really intense moment ("I don't even know what shepard's pie is")?? Just. Wonderful. I'll be sad to see this one go, but I can't wait to read the last chapter!
Love love love the whole being stuck in that small closet together. This story was so well done, I'm sorry to see it go!

This is really believable to me, especially with Pam feeling upset and lonely and (of course) Roy's new beard. You told Pam's perspective really well, especially the awkwardness of when he first got there and her mind was completely in another world. Keep it up!

Okay, I know I just reviewed but I just had to re-read their whole dialogue. I love that Pam came over with the pretense that Jim would be all submissive and apologetic and then he totally surprises her by getting angry. Favorite line I think? "Don't push me."

Ooh nice job with this one (although I was hoping that it was Pam ringing the doorbell, hehe). The Jim/Karen breakup was very realistic, just excellent.

Thanks! That is definitely my favorite side of Jim and one that we really never, ever get to see, so I had to use my imagination on how he'd handle himself during those sales calls. Hopefully I came close.

You wrote all of the characters in this piece really really well, I especially loved the very last two lines as well as "so he prints off the rental listing and hands her his future." So good.

Not for the faint-heartened - extremely dark Jim. Having read a self-help book on "moving on and getting on with your life" Jim Halpert starts a journal to get over Pam.
Haha, I'm loving this (did you know that you could so easily draw me into a story by calling it dark!Jim? ;) I especially love in the first chapter when he keeps talking about how he thinks about her licking his cock. Jim's a guy so, yes, that's probably very true.

I know your stuff is supposed to be AWESOME but jeez even the titles scare the hell out of me! I've never really written dark!Jim before or dark!anything for that matter. It's just a little practice exercise to hopefully improve myself as a writer. Talking about sex is also very hard for me,.. If you read any of my other stuff, you'll see I'm a very big fan of the fadeout just when it starts to get interesting... Thank you again and don't tell my Mom I wrote this!
