Michael decides to take his sales dream team on a little trip and pulls Pam along for the ride. Spoilers through Cocktails.Oh my god! This story was amazing! I don't even know where to begin! For one thing, you got the characters down perfectly. It all felt very... real. And for another, you got me to like Ryan! I guess he was the only one who was out of character, but he still felt real, too. Like, if he had randomly become nice and developed a thing with Pam, this is how it would have gone down.
And there was just the perfect dosage of humor (so funny) and angst and the sexy stuff. And you wrote in such a way that made me feel so empathetic for Pam. I personally would have chosen Jim (poor Jim got rejected a whopping three times now by Miss. Beesley), but the way you wrote this story made me glad she chose Ryan. And became friends with Karen.
So yeah, I just really loved this story. I had to take a break from reading it to go to work, and I was dying all day to know what happened next. And let me say one more time how real this story felt: it felt very, very real.
This was really cute. I liked the ending a lot. Very sweet. And well written. Thank you for that.

Anyway, I was re-reading your story again (but really, what else am I to do? There are no other stories out there like this that are THIS good). Every time I come back to read this story again, it just blows me away. I always catch something I missed before, and it becomes so much more profound and heart-breaking and beautiful.
You had this one line in your last chapter that I just noticed for the first time. About how the problems that Jim has are the ones that never crossed his troubled mind. And I love that line soooo much, because it's so similar to this other line from a song I love. It's called "Everybody's Free To Wear Sun-Screen" by Baz Lurhman. If you haven't heard of it, you should really look it up, I think you'd love it, too. I don't see how you couldn't. Anyway, that song has a line that goes, "The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind, the kind that blindside you at four pm on some idle Tuesday." Kind of like how Jim found out about Pam. Or like that episode that was actually called Blindsided on 21 Jump Street when that girl offered Johnny Depp money to kill her father who was molesting her.
Anywho, I want you to know that your story is so amazing that I have an endless supply of patience when it comes to waiting for an update. I want you to take your time, cause I know it's tough. I just hope you don't give up on this baby. It's really something.
Hi! I hope you haven't forgotten about us! I'm just going crazy wondering what happens with Jim and Pam. I can imagine a million different scenes in my head, but I know none of them could possibly live up to whatever you'll come up with. Because this story always blows me away. Every single time I read it, which has been many, many times. See, what happens is the waiting drives me insane, so I just come back and re-read what's already here and just find more reasons love it.

Okay, so let me just tell how freaking awesome this chapter is! I love it! And I totally understand about you just wanting to write about Jim and Pam in love and making babies, because I know I want to read about Jim and Pam in love making babies. LOL.
But I'm really glad your not just making her wake up one day totally fine. It's so much more real, this way. Like Pam's sex dream, it was so amazingly beautiful and touching. Because it really wasn't about sex. It was about lots of things. And I'm really happy with the way you ended the chapter, too. It wasn't too big a gesture or anything, it was small and simple and it just meant so much.
Oh, and to respond to your response to my last comment (that's a funny sentence): This is actually the first rape fanfic I've ever read for The Office. I just meant in general, for other shows and stuff, they usually either completely breeze past the issue and the character gets over it in like, less than a day, or they go over the top and it's just kinda ridiculous. And the reason why I give such encouraging comments, I think, is because I did write a rape fanfiction for a different show. And it took me over a year, and it was really difficult, and I hated every chapter. So I just understand how hard it is.
But your story is so amazingly beautiful, and it's so touching, and it's got so much heart. And I know everyone is really excited to see what happens next.

You really are a wonderful writer, and you're dealing with this topic so well. You have no idea how many fanfictions attempt to deal with this subject and fuck it up somehow. They're almost perfect except for some fatal flaw. This story, however, in my opinion, is flawless. It's perfect. It's so real that it hurts and don't you doubt your quality of writing for a second. This chapter rocked. Hard.
