But they're happy, and it's nice to see Jim getting so much of what he wants as far as his personal life is concerned. He'll move on to fixing his professional life with Pam's support. :)

Summer pre-S5. Jim's in Scranton - Pam's in New York. Just little a set of vignettes - week by week until they're together again.
I love these vignettes for each week. It totally works and it's all in the little details from Kelly's tab flipping to Michael asking about milk in his coffee. I'm glad you're writing again as I love your Jim and Pam so much. :)

Jim comes back, Pam's late, and it's time to talk. Takes place in the summer between S3 and S4.I really enjoyed this story. I think you underwrote it, and I mean this as a great compliment. I think the tendency is to do too much exposition in stories or make people hyper verbal, but your story had a very real feel to it. Your dialogue worked very well, and the whole stripper discussion amused me very much.
Author's Response: Thank you. I wanted it to be a very spare, simple thing, particularly since I don\'t think Pam and Jim would have the easiest time talking about these things initially. I did have to throw in a little humor, though. :)

I know nothing of Japan, but having moved to a city where I knew no one, I could totally empathize with the feeling of being alone but the peace that comes with getting to be alone in a new place, having to be your own person. There's so much power in that.
I just loved all the little details you put in there because I could really immerse myself in the story. The little quirks and traits of the various people she met there felt so real. That party she attended where she felt so out of place was especially well done.
It still felt like Jim and Pam, but in a different setting. Thank you so much for posting this story! :)

I really like the parallels between his love of basketball and of Pam. Very sweet story. You make really good use of Jim's first person voice. It makes the story really come alive.

I don't know where to start as to what was my favourite part of this, but it was great. I love happy and sweet Jim and Pam. I love their banter; I love that they miss each other even when they're not apart for long; I love that they keep each other on their toes with surprise vows,... Very nice.
