How's it goin? My name is Scott and I love The Office. It has completely taken over my life. My friends at the nbc.com message board finally convinced me to read some fanfic, and now I'm addicted! I'm a pretty down to Earth guy and I usually act really goofy. I like to have fun with people ;)

Moxie, I love this story for a few reasons.

1. You are an amazing writer. Not every office 'flan' can write stories with such great dialogue and descriptions. You really have a talent for this. :)

2. The story is great! It's unique and most of all, entertaining. Whenever you write about the other characters, you really capture their personalities. Everything with Michael and Dwight (as little as they are in the story) had me laughing out loud. I would love to see you write a regular 'episode' of the office. I'm sure it would be hilarious. :)

3.  The chat sequences remind me of the chat at the nbc message board where I spend most of my nights now. The story really hits home and I can relate each character to someone I know in my chatroom.  You've really nailed it.  :)

Thanks for reading this compliment, and I can't wait to read the rest. :)

Moxie, you know I love you and that this is an incredible ending! Squirrel is now complete, which means my life is now complete. lol.  I can't wait for the sequel!

Summary:

I have dubbed this Alphabet Soup after seeing a can of it on the grocery shelf and thus the idea was cooked.

Each letter will deal with something Office related and become little vignettes as well.

I will say spoilers up till Beach Day as of now, since we only have a few days left till the season finale.

I'm interested to see where this goes. I'm a guy that plays the guitar, and sometimes, the guitar can get you a lot of attention. I really enjoyed reading the first chapter, but I have two concerns. 1. I don't think Jim would say "Oh...well..um" as much as he did. He always seems to be quick on his toes, but you never know. Maybe he gained his self-confidence later in life. 2. I read in the description that this story gets steamy. I really don't like smut that much, but if that's where you want to take the story, that's ok. Just letting you know what I'm thinking. Anyways, I think the story is off to a great start, and I'll be checking in for updates. Nice work! :)

Author's Response:

Perhaps it is the guitar that gives him more self-confidence?? No, I don't know. I've just always pictured Jim as one of those guys that became increasingly more suave as he aged (I mean, given the yearbook picture and all ;) Haha)
I usually put the "steamy" in the description irregardless because one way or another that's always where my mind takes me. I have a dirty mind sometimes...so far though, there isn't any smut written in the immediate future. I can't make promises for later though (hence the warning in the story descriptions).

And the bits about the girls flocking to male guitar player definitely comes from my experience in college. I swear, every single guy I ever had a thing for played some kind of guitar and as a freshman I always saw the girls flocking to the guys who played an instrument. :) Haha

Thanks for your comment!

Great story, bebitched! My favorite part: "There are men here too. It’s not as if there weren’t ones back in Scranton but there she was engaged and in love (not to the same man the whole time, though) and it seemed a little ridiculous to notice the other boys in the playground if there were two already pulling her pigtails." Brilliantly put! Keep up the good writing. :)
