This is smut. Serious, hard-core, unapologetic, squirm in your seat, not-safe-for-work, wild and unhinihibited smut, punctuated by merciless and heart-wrenching angst. In a couple of chapters, there will be smutty angst, and in others, angsty smut. There's even a couple of chapters with no smut at all and some fluff-happy-funny mixed in! But it all ends with a happy bang! Haw. You were warned.
What if Pam had gone along with Michael and Dwight to the convention? Was she ready to see Jim? Was Jim ready to face Pam?Jim and Pam have 24 hours together before he leaves for Stamford. A lot can happen when you're on borrowed time.Michael watched Pam through the blinds. She was so lucky, everyone always wanted to talk to her, hang out with her, be friends with her. Sometimes he wished he could be her. It would all be so easy if he was Pam.
Pam looked up to see Michael staring at her through the blinds. She smiled to herself before turning back to answering the phones. Sometimes she wondered what it was like to be Michael. It must be strange.
There's a rule of the universe. Never wonder the same thing at the same time as someone else. That's a karmic jinx.

What it's really like this year at Dunder Mifflin.
I got this idea from the JAM Therapy thread on the NBC boards. A fellow board member brought up an article stating the 10 ways a woman can best compliment her man. I am taking each one and implementing it into JAM. Pretty simple, really.

50 Jim isn't inviting Pam to the Christmas Eve party he and Karen are holding. Three ghosts visit him the night before the big party and try to bring him to his senses. Will he listen to them, or will he convince himself that it is all a figment of his imagination and leave things the way they are?

Three things I believe: They love each other. Dunder Mifflin would wear Jim down without Pam there. Parenting ain't easy. This story follows from those three premises.
