Jim pulling strings with David Wallace is hot. HOT. HOT. and all to pay off a loan for Pam's ex-fiance (he who shall not be named)...damn. That's what makes Jim the better man...with the "bigger" nose. Oops, maybe nose should've been in quotes...bigger "nose." There. :)

Author's Response:

Jim just wants to help his girl.  A knight in shining armor if you will.  He knows Roy didn't treat her well, and still doesn't.  Jim never wants Pam to feel like she isn't anything less than the most important thing in his life.  But the string pulling might come back to haunt them... stay tuned... dear readers... (that is, until the strike ends)

hahaha. "Mmmm... cheesy kiss." I can't ever imagine Jim (or JKras, for that matter) saying that, but if he did...phew. Swoon. too cute.

Author's Response:

I was actually hoping that someone would point this out, CashBasket.  It's not something you can read in a script... Jim loves to remember the way Pam tastes.  The French Onion Soup, the Famous Grilled Cheese Sandwich.  I like to think that when they're out of the office, even for a moment, they kiss.  A lot.

That was awesome. Very true to the show.

Author's Response: Thank you for saying so abs294!

This was adorable! I confess I rarely read stories in script format, but this was done so well the form didn't interfere with the reading pleasure in the slightest.

I thought the story idea was original and totally plausible, and very neatly higlighted lots of relationships and characters outside of Jim and Pam: Ryan, Jan/Michael, Dwight/Angela, Michael himself...

Seriously, this was just great!

Author's Response:

Inanna3, I was concerned that reading script format would turn some people off.  MTT has such a dedicated group of readers though!

I'm going for as much realism in my scripts as possible.  It seems that it's was I need to do to get through the writer's strike.

I'm really enjoying this so far!  It's very believable; I can picture all of this happening on the show.  I can't wait to see where the Roy thing goes.

Author's Response:

Your reaction is just what I was aiming for JAMtastic!  I'll have the second and final act up here shortly.
