I've fallen hopelessly, terribly, all-encompassingly headfirst into the world of JAM fanfiction. I never thought I'd be as obsessed as I have been over the past few months (buying the Special Edition DVDs, reading fanfiction, thinking about fanfiction, contemplating writing fanfiction, racing home from work to read fanfiction, reading fanfiction at work, seriously considering paying $200 for signed Dunder-Mifflin merchandise, etc), but I'm thrilled about the prospect of it all.

I'd love to beta a story! Also, there should be an inconspicuous skin that makes it look like I'm doing work instead of on MTT... the Jim+Pam kissing banner is sweet, but won't hack it at work anymore.

this part of the story was nice in that it was gravelly and raw and full of emotion, much like your previous chapters (which is why i love reading what you've written so far - it goes past fluff into gritty, gristly stuff that i've come to crave - that's what she said) but umm..could pam have at least rinsed out jim's mouth before straddling him? ...or maybe that's where the beauty lies, that she's still willing to make out with pukey jim.

oooh. i love this feisty, confident Pam. not only is she unafraid of what she wants, but she takes confident strides (as opposed to baby steps or giant leaps) to get there. your portrayal of Jim as the unassuming, sensitive but still very dominant and very masculine contrast to Pam...is excellent :) i'd love to see more in their story!

angry, feisty jim is just as hot as sensitive, loving jim pining over pam. i know it's the angst that makes the narrative so strong, but sometimes i just want pam to be able to say what she means. this story captured pam very nicely, though - her drunkenness, her obliviousness, her inability to realize that jim loves her way more than roy ever could. i think the line "this is the chili's parking lot all over again" sums it up wonderfully :)

The juxtaposition between the Jim/Pam's perspectives is great... How she wants to tell him everything but just focuses on keeping the conversation going, how he wants to keep her on the line so that she'll speak to him... "tell me. just tell me". so sad, so poignant, so utterly jim and pam and hesitatingly, apprehensively frustrating.

i love this line: "Tomorrow he'll try harder. Tonight he'll let himself dream."

How could anyone forget this story!? I love this particular style - it took me awhile to acclimate myself to the 'hellos' and 'goodbyes' - once I sat down and really read between the lines, I felt heartbroken and anguished and anxious for JAM all at once. Can't wait for more installments!!
