But I'm big on trying to make it somewhat realistic and Jim's slacking off would catch up to him eventually, plus it was an arc on the show. It's gonna get a little worse for a while, but of course, there's always a happy ending. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Hi

I'm really sorry, but I just didn't agree with this last chapter of yours. It didn't seem in character at all for Jim, even if he is sad and depressed and wanting to blow off steam. I just cant imagine Jim acting like that I'm sorry, and Holly in my opinion forgave Jim way too easily.

Loved chapter 4 though and the way you've portrayed Michael and Holly's dynamic.

Also thought it was a nice touch having flashbacks about the will :)

Author's Response: The will was definitely one of my favorite parts to write. Same with Michael and Holly's date. And about Jim's freak out on Holly, it's further explained in the next chapter. I'll just say that his tumor messes with his emotions. When he's sad, angry or happy, the tumor causes him to feel it tenfold...but anyway, the next couple chapters are finished, I just need to tweak them up a bit... Thank you for the review! And I hope you continue reading despite the OOC Jim...

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I totally agree (and will be continuing, for about ten chapters in all). Jim made WAY too much of an effort to be seriously unhappy with Karen, and he seemed to be genuinely enjoying himself on more than one occasion. I think by Cocktails, she was definitely falling for him and he was starting to fall for her as well, though he might not have been ready for it--though I may be giving away too much of my interpretation that will come up in later chapters... ;) Hope you keep reading!
