Bio:

I'm a student living in Seattle. For a while I was only reading and reviewing, (I'm pretty shy) but then I decided to go for it and begin posting - albeit very sporadically. I still feel that I've got a long way to go in terms of my writing, but as I'm busy with school I'm content to just read, review and beta for now.

That said, I love to rock climb, travel (Europe in particular), listen to old 60's music, read all of your stories here and watch The Office, How I Met Your Mother and Gilmore Girls.

Email me anytime and I'll gladly beta for you - just know that I might be a bit preoccupied from time to time with school, but I'm still interested. My email is: pamelamorganhalpert [at] yahoo [dot] com

P.S. I saw Jenna Fischer in person in May 2010 at the world premiere of her movie 'A Little Help' and I've got a insy winsy picture on my phone to prove it (sadly no autograph...). However, I can say that I've been within a foot of Jenna, as she walked right by me to take pictures for the press.

Summary: "Pam always thought dying was supposed to be a peaceful transition from the real world to a place of light and beauty. She thought that she would die an old woman in the arms of her husband, not right after hearing her child cry for the first time."

Pam knows she needs to move on after death but can't bring herself to leave behind her motherless daughter and heartbroken, grieving husband.

Aww, this was not my favorite chapter, but I really liked how she wasn't able to move on (or didn't want to). Very well written, and I can't wait for more!

Hey there - I just wanted to let you know that there's no chapter three up right now. I think it might have been deleted by accident.

Oh my god, he felt the kiss! That is so cool! I can't wait for more, this is so interesting (albeit, occasionally frustrating...) but awesome, too. Sorry - I abuse the word awesome too much here at MTT (just because I'm trying to channel my inner cheerleading Katy!). Great job, and please get chapter 3 back up so I can reread it! This story is so fresh and creative, I cannot get over how delighted I am to read something that has never been written about before. Long live new ideas!

Nice idea for this chapter! I really love the story plot, but I'm going to have to agree with Deedldee who previously reviewed this: there are a few errors and unclear sentences. I'm sorry that I'm having to say this for your first story (BTW, welcome to More Than That!! You're going to love all the stories here!), but I think this still needs a little bit of work. Beta's area a great way to have a second set of eyes to run over your story before posting or even to help bounce ideas back and forth with. Check out the list of beta readers, there are quite a lot of really great ones!

But in the end, I really love this idea and I can't wait to see how you continue!

I'm so happy you like my reviews, and even LOOK FORWARD TO THEM! I'm starting to feel quite comfortable here at MTT, I've published a story, established myself as an aspiring reviewer (I'm looking to be the future NanReg, you know, maybe when she retires I can take over for her... lol!). I just joined May 1st, and now I'm really feeling good here. Well anyway, glad you're continuing, this story is great!

Oh my goodness. This is so depressing, reading about Jim losing his wife, and Claire losing her mother. But you MUST keep going! This is INCREDIBLY well written, and I'm addicted already! I love all of your description, and Claire's teenaged ways are completely accurate (believe me, I just recently exited that phase). Lastly, I just HAVE to love Claire, I mean that's my name, so I automatically love that name, and I wouldn't mind being Jim's daughter at all. Not to mention, according to your description we look similar...

So yeah, I'm addicted, and I better be reading something new soon! (Sorry, that wasn't meant to be mean, I'm just giving you an ultimatum - because if you decide to submerge all us readers in your incredible story telling than you better not just offer ice cream, actually give it to us!)

I LOVE THIS STORY ALREADY! ({if that wasn't already clear enough for you.....)

Author's Response: I have to say, I always look forward to your detailed reviews. I'm so happy that you're enjoying the story, and I promise, more will come. I'm so happy you're liking the writing, I'm trying to keep them very much in character, even when it's something that's different. More to come very soon! Thanks again for reading!!

Oh my goodness, teacher Jim is rather sexy. Is that wrong to think? I'm sorry, but... never mind. No one should ever have to say sorry for thinking Jim is rather lovable. Right?

Alright, that's over with. On to the story itself! I LOVED this chapter, the fears and thoughts of Jim's seemed very realistic as were the situations that Claire was going through. Again, I love how the daughter is Claire, which is my name, too. It is so perfect, and I love Claire and Jim's relationship.

Great chapter, and I can't wait for more to come!

Author's Response: Oh, teacher Jim is rather loveable. Glad you're enjoying this, and look for an update with in the next day or so :)

I completely understand. I'm so sorry if I made it sound like I didn't like or appreciate this chapter for its symbolism in the story - I definitely think it needed to be written. I was just trying to say that out of all of the previous chapters, this was not my favorite, I liked the other two a bit more because of the content. But anyways, I totally understand that this needed to be written and how essential Pam quitting her job is to the story. Great job with this story, the idea was so creative and it's very interesting to read!

Wow, what's Jim's name doing there??? I can't wait to find out. I assume that this was a filler chapter, because not much happened, but you needed to keep the story moving - I thought it was lacking a bit of content. But if it was a filler I completely understand.

Great story, and as always this is fantastic! I'll be waiting for the next chapter!

Author's Response: To make a story get where you want it to go, certain things need to happen, and one of them was Pam leaving her job. I worked very hard on the writing of this chapter, because with an epic story (in length)not every chapter is going to have something huge happen. Thank you for the review..:)

Oh poor Jim, his Claire should not know about that yet! So funny though, nice job! I hope Pam is one of the other people who are being interviewed, that would be great! I just hope Emma doesn't get the job and Pam does.

Sorry, that's mean to fictional Emma here, and she's very nice. Oh well. Great chapter and I can't wait for the next one! Let me know if you ever want any beta'ing!

Author's Response: Hehe..wait until you see what is to come! And as always, thanks for the review!

Oh my goodness, I can't wait to have them meet again! And by the way, the bit with Claire and Christine was perfect, I like that she didn't just rub off what she said, and that even though she tried to be put together in front of her friends (well somewhat) she didn't stand up for them being, well... bitches. Good word for it!

Great chapter, this was awesome and I can't wait for the next one! Are they actually going to meet int he next chapter?

Author's Response: Glad you're enjoying it! I'm excited to write them crossing paths, and I promise it'll happen very very soon. :) Thanks for the review!

Question: Why do you stop on cliff hangers?
Fact: Stopping on cliff hangers not only makes the reader go 'Ahh! What? Wait... why? When they get to the end of the chapter, but makes them NEED to read more so badly, they just don't know what to do. That said, what am I going to do while I wait? Just do my math homework, then go to school, then sleep, eat... and daydream about what happens next in your amazingly wonderful (and suspenseful) story.

Please continue! (I totally understand that you're in school - so please, let that be your #1 priority, that's so much more important - but know that your readers are completely hooked and curious to see what happens next. We'll wait!)

Author's Response: Thank you! And I looooove cliff hangers--keeps people reading and anticipating what's next. So glad that you're enjoying it, and I promise, once graduation is over, I will be sure to update another chapter too!

Maybe you could write a chapter per season (or two, to continue with the trend you already started!) and just have some more fun - this was really good! Thanks for sharing!

Sorry, bad haiku form at the end there. Maybe I should go show it to my therapist (sorry, couldn't help myself! brownie points if you can guess my obvious reference!)

cute chapter! typing w/ 1 hand... apologies...

Author's Response: Oh no! I'm horrible at pop culture stuff, pamela! Even worse than Michael Scott! I guess that means no brownie points for me. Boooooo! Tell me anyways.

That was great! I think it's my favorite chapter, the way you pieced together different moments surrounding one song was beautiful. I always listen to the songs as I'm reading and at the end think to myself 'wow, I wonder if the author was thinking about this song when they wrote the chapter' - then realizing that you had written the chapter based off of this song!

Anyways, great job, and I can't wait for more!

Author's Response: You have no idea how happy it makes me to know that you're also listening to the music while reading this! When writing this story, the music was what inspired me so it's very encouraging when readers like you enjoy the music as well as the story! Once again, thank you very much, pamela, for the lovely review :o)

Wow, no offense I wasn't expecting much from a therapy story, but I really liked this! I'm liking the doctor and I can't wait to see how you continue - especially Pam's perspective on what happened! Now that I think about it I read a somewhat similar story (I think it was after Pam supposedly died...) about Jim going to therapy. Totally AU, and Holly was the therapist, Michael was one of her co-workers. Actually, sorry, Jim had some brain condition, I think a tumor, and went to see Holly as like his doctor or something.

Anyways, sorry I went on a rant in the review box, but I really like this story, keep going and if you have the time try looking up that story I just mentioned, it was really good and could be potentially helpful to you! Great job, this was really well written!
