Bio:

I'm a student living in Seattle. For a while I was only reading and reviewing, (I'm pretty shy) but then I decided to go for it and begin posting - albeit very sporadically. I still feel that I've got a long way to go in terms of my writing, but as I'm busy with school I'm content to just read, review and beta for now.

That said, I love to rock climb, travel (Europe in particular), listen to old 60's music, read all of your stories here and watch The Office, How I Met Your Mother and Gilmore Girls.

Email me anytime and I'll gladly beta for you - just know that I might be a bit preoccupied from time to time with school, but I'm still interested. My email is: pamelamorganhalpert [at] yahoo [dot] com

P.S. I saw Jenna Fischer in person in May 2010 at the world premiere of her movie 'A Little Help' and I've got a insy winsy picture on my phone to prove it (sadly no autograph...). However, I can say that I've been within a foot of Jenna, as she walked right by me to take pictures for the press.

“Such awesome sleeping!” says Jim.

I just loved that line - totally a Jim thing to say. Very cute and I loved how the reader was able to experience every aspect of Jim and Pam's new life. Great job, Annabel Winslow!

God that was incredible. I should get to math homework but I needed to say that! Such a great one shot and I love the colliding worlds and bantering. Add a second chap if you can think of another one, it would be so cool! Maybe they meet up later when their kids are 5 or 6 and Karen/Dan are taking Ethan to see Karen's past. Jim and Pam are just walking outside of the building after another take your daughter to work day and they run into each other. Then they start talking about Oscar's welcome back party and how Karen asked Jim if he was still in love with Pam...

That could be interesting. Sorry you just inspired me to start thinking about other possibilities. Slightly in the future talking about a harder issue, huh? Try it if you like or just forget about it - your choice!

I love this story! Such a great job showing all of the awkwardness between Pam and Roy, but still showing some of the memories they had together. This is such a great idea and I'm really hoping that you'll keep going. How about Katy next? That could be interesting considering she really wanted a great future with Pam... would it be awkward for her to see their baby and would she feel comfortable with Cece??? Just another suggestion!

I really loved the awkwardness - but how they all were able to walk away feeling good about themselves - and happy. Very sweet. I did see a couple little typos, if you just quickly look over them you'll find them no problem. But back to more exciting things - who's next? They don't have any more exes... what about someone else's ex? Like bumping into Holly? That could be really fun to read - I'm sure she would love Cece, and then ask about Michael... and that would be pretty interesting... just an idea. Anyways, I hope you'll be able to come up with a new loose end to fix and please keep going, this is a lot of fun!

I just read the rest of the reviews: I totally agree, Alex and David Wallace would be great! Both have some background insight on the characters, Alex on Pam, David Wallace on Jim. That would be fun to read!

I think I liked this one best. I can't really place why, though. Maybe because the other ones were expected, and Joanne is one of the characters that we never met, never saw with either Pam or Jim before, and so the connection between them is really fresh and can be played with a little. I loved the way you wrote the interactions between them. Pam seemed so much younger, almost like Joanne was still a potential mother-in-law, because, in a way, Joanne was a mother figure for her for some time, and watched her/mentored her as she grew up. Great chapter and what a lovely character. Great dialogue, too. And I loved Joanne's inner thinking as she saw Pam and Jim interact by the car - that was so sweet!

Other characters... hmm... maybe a college girlfriend of Jim's? But that seems kind of predictable. And old teacher of either Jim or Pam's? Maybe Pam's art teacher who saw Pam with Roy, I'd imagine. I look forward to what you come up with, keep this story going, it's such a fresh, creative idea!

Awww, what a sweet story. And a team effort, too! Sorry I bailed out on this one, I got busy with school stuff, but this turned out amazingly. I love how it started out with your idea and everyone else seemed to have pitched in to make something fabulous. Great job, adampascalfan12, and this is great! I always loved the letter, and I think you've got a great version there.

P.S. I caught two things, in the first italicized flashback you have 'jim walked in without no shirt on' instead of 'jim walked in without a shirt on' or 'without his shirt on' - i think that's what you meant to say. secondly, in the A/N you added a 'n' to the end of deedldee's name.

this turned out great, and i'm sorry i got busy and had to stop, what a sweet fic!

Author's Response: That's okay, I understand that you had to work on school stuff. I was going to post it just in time for Mother's day, but studying for the finals took me off track with the story. But I'm glad that I had you guys to help me to make the story flow more better and recommeded some suggestions. That was great team effort, I enjoyed working with all of you and is happy that the story turned out to be great! So thank you for helping! P.S. I changed the mistakes, thanks for pointing that out!!

This just might be the sweetest story I have ever read. So cute. Cece is really wrapped around Jim's finger, and that adds to the awesomeness of this. Great job with this, andtheivy, and I can't wait for age four. I'm trying to think of some idea you could use... maybe Jim and Pam try to go out on a date night and Cece won't stand to be left alone with the sitter, even though it's just some grandparents? Just thinking out loud here, anyways, I look forwards to more!

This is so perfectly sweet. Amazing job, unfold, for capturing the essence of everything that is Jim and Pam and putting in into a six hundred-something word story. I love those first two paragraphs, with the repetition of 'she is standing in front of his living room window' and her observations. I also love the last three paragraphs, how every kiss is just as important as the one before it because it took so long for Jim and Pam to be at this stage and be able to do that in addition to Jim's constant urge to protect Pam. I think I'll stop trying to justify why I like this so much - but know that this is wonderful!

I'm really looking forwards to the next few chapters! I wonder what Jim saved... And if there'll be anything from Karen...

Wow, that's such a different ending that what I predicted, but I really love it all the same! I'm so glad Pam didn't get angry with Jim for looking at her things and that he did tell her. It would have been awful it he'd lied to her or kept it a secret. Anyways, this was such a great little story, and as always, I'm so glad you went with an original idea - it gets so boring reading the same subject over and over again! Great job, callisto!

I remember clearly reading the first two chapters - but somehow I forgot about this story for the latest two chapters. I'm still trying to figure out how that was possible because this is just so powerfully moving and well written! You've written this with such incredible attention to detail, emotion and character, Dedeen - I'm so impressed with how you've gone about this topic so realistically. I sincerely hope you or anyone you're close to has not gone through this, or something similar and that you've just got a knack for medical-style writing. I'm crossing my fingers that you haven't gone through that, and I'm so sorry if you have.

Please continue, I know there are many other readers out there who would agree with me in saying that they would hate to see this story unfinished!

Aww, what a kind of cheesy but really adorable ending. I'm so happy there's an epilogue, because although this ending actually felt complete for once (I'm never satisfied with story endings! lol), I actually liked this one. I just loved when you wrote about Jim's movements, and when he wrote CC in the night. That was beautiful.

Amazing work on this story, and I'm really looking forwards to that epilogue!

Oh my... wow... I was almost crying at the end - when I read that this was Jim's way of saying goodbye. Then when Jim said that Pete was going to take care of everything, he had Cecelia's box and he wanted Pam to be happy... well, that was just hard to read! I trust that you won't take our Jim away from us - you wouldn't do that, would you? But all in all, amazing detail and I am constantly surprised by the amount of emotion you are able to incorporate into your writing. Wonderful chapter, on to number six!

A beautiful ending to a breathtaking story. I'm so happy to have had the privilege of reading this, your story was so down to earth and honest, while being full of sweet, loving moments. I really loved this ending - usually when a story ends I beg and plead and whine for the author to continue, but it's only when they have done a stellar job of concluding their tale (such as you have done) that I am able to keep my mouth shut. Showing them at a survivor's walk was brilliant, and I loved the characters of Bonnie, Kara and Cindy. I think your best line throughout this entire story was from this chapter, "After Cindy bids us goodbye, Bonnie tells me her daughter died of a malignant brain tumor two years ago. Cece looked like her. A shiver runs through my spine." I felt a shiver, too, reading that.

Congratulations on a wonderful story, and I'm really looking forwards to whatever you come up with next. :) Claire

Oh my goodness, this is so hard to read. But I just can't stop - it's so good! This is fantastic SO FAR, Dedeen, and I'm looking forwards to reading how things will continue. You've done such an incredible job keeping this realistic in both the medical sense (not that I'd know anything for sure!) and the Jim/Pam relationship sense. I'm really looking forwards to chapter three, keep going!
