“Listen, sweetheart. I don’t know what kind of Little House on the Prairie dates you’ve been on in the past decade, but I don’t consider a one night stand to be at all romantic. That’s why I’m asking.”
Perfection. I'm rolled my eyes so hard and laughed even more. This whole update was well worth the wait. The contract was hysterical and Jim is such an ass. All the key details in here make it amazing.

And again, Jim is such an ass. I hate to love it, but I do.

Somehow Andy is even more obnoxious in this than irl, but that detail added so much to this. The fact that Andy is Jim's almost friend? Weird, but I need more of it. Can't wait to see how you write these two living together. I really hope Pam gives him a swift kick in the butt to calm him down for a hot minute.

You really do have a great way with words. This version of Jim that you've created is complex and even though he's a total tool, you've shown that he has a heart, something terrible has happened in his life, and he didn't spiral for no reason. I got all giddy when I saw the title. I love this song and it's been stuck in my head since I saw you posted an update. This song also reminded me of Jam and I love your post about it. It's so true that love just isn't what Roy and Pam have, but it's so much more with Jim and Pam. Ugh you pulled at my heartstrings and I was a fan. Amazing and great to see another update from you. I've missed seeing them!
