I love this fic for so many reasons. The structure is really clever (two sentences for each frame, and that last frame unfinished...), and it's very well-written. You've done a wonderful job capturing the small moments in terms of senses and feelings (for example, Jim's cologne and hands, the steam in the cold air). It's incredibly romantic, suspenseful, and hot. And this: "When he brought one of your curls to his lips, you watched for a glimpse of his tongue. Then you lowered your head, and tasted the beach on him." is killer.
On a side note, this: "Then it was his turn, and you decided that all men should just wear Levi’s and be done with it." I am going to take as a shoutout to the JK:WCHLAT hussies. :)

My first ever Office fic- and still one of my absolute favorites. You did a wonderful job with story, characterization, setting, detail, romance, everything. And the shower? You're killing me!

Yes! One of my favorite fics ever- I just reread the entire thing, and loved it all over it again. It's both realistic (everything up through Pam needing to wait) and sweetly adorable (pretty much everything after that). The proposal and matching pregnancy surprise are so original and cute. Love, love, love!

Great work Tabitha! I can picture the situation perfectly: the warm lodge, the cold car... This: "Not clean or new, or like shampoo or laundry detergent or perfume; but fresh, and beautiful" is just lovely, it's exactly the way I imagine Jim might describe Pam. And the end, :dies:.

And this might sound weird, but you write the steamy parts really well, keeping them emotional and not too clinical, with just the right amount of detail so that they're sexy and hot but not embarrassing.

Perfect ending to a fantastic story. I really enjoyed reading this as it went up chapter by chapter at FF- you did a wonderful job with the angst and fluff. I think you particularly captured their relationship very well, and you painted a very clear picture of them together in the future, joking, loving each other... sigh.

After reading the other reviews, I just wanted to add that I, too, enjoyed the short sentences in this fic: they added to the dramatic, suspenseful, action-movie feel, and made me feel more as if I were in the situation with the D-M-ites. I think they also work well within the context of a zombie fic because the plot is so full of surprises.

I also wanted to add that I like how you showed that a crisis can emphasize a person's personality (not change it- witness Dwight, Michael, etc.).
